Approximately 7 ½ years ago, a smaller, but business hungry haunt owner took it upon himself to have a "meeting of the minds" for several interested haunters in his hotel room at the Holiday Inn (currently the Crown Plaza), prior to the opening day of the Transworld educational seminar series in Chicago. Haunters have many choices of restaurants, nightclubs and other visitor activities, but when 20 plus Halloween business owners felt the need to meet, greet and share business tips, friendship, successful business ideas, this was the basic outline of this initial meeting. The "Crazy Bob Social" was born! Due to it's tremendous success, every year, it continued to grow, but the cost of larger meeting rooms and snacks became more costly than Bob Turner could continue to afford by himself. Through the combined efforts of Transworld and Bob, the "Crazy Bob Social" developed into an annual event with great food, drinks and averaging 150 in attendance.
This event will be held in a laid back, relaxed atmosphere featuring an informative industry talk-back and share session where everyone in the room is fresh and eager to listen, learn and participate in this pre-convention get together. Haunters both new and industry veterans, any style from house, hayride, walking trail, cornfield, profit, non-profit and industry vendors are all found in the room.
Who:

If you are a paid attendee for the Thursday educational seminars, the social has reserved the first hour exclusively for dinner and personal time to meet and greet other haunters, introduce speakers and give a welcome synopsis of the following days seminar activities. What to bring, what to expect, etc….This is absolutely FREE and is part of your Transworld educational experience. (Please
note: bar beverages are on your own)
2. If you are the spouse or guest of a paid attendee you may join the event at a
cost of (TBD) at the 7:00pm time slot. Advance reservations are required

3. If you are attending just the trade show and would like to join in on the food and pre-mixer from 7:00pm - 8:30pm, the cost is
