It was a
very productive weekend. I
had to the opportunity to travel along with the Rockford Screamfest
Haunted House group for a set of seminars they were hosting for “A
Theatre Of Lost Souls”, which is a Haunted House near
Oshkosh
Wisconsin
. The Screamfest crew
shared their Haunt knowledge with the
Wisconsin
natives and I was there to document the event with my digital
camera.
The seminars
ranged from scenery distressing to character development, which
included some fun hands-on improvisational exercises. The
seminars nearly filled the entire day Saturday.
Since it was
such a long drive to get there (200 miles each way), the Screamfest
crew had planned to make a weekend out of it and camp out at
High
Cliff
State Park
, which is located just outside of
Appleton
. This place had some
great hiking trails and awesome scenery, as you can see from the
pictures below. I highly
recommend checking it out, if you get the chance.
