2008 Chicago Zombie Pub Crawl Chicago's 1st Annual Zombie Pub Crawl, presented by pH Productions, was held on Saturday April 26, 2008. Surpassing everyone's expectations, this event was a monstrous success, boasting an attendance of more than 250 zombies. Next to the registration area, there was a make-up table set up with fake blood and assorted make-up, for those zombies in need of some additional gorification. After checking in at the US Bank parking lot and putting the finishing touches on costumes & make-up, the massive group of zombies lumbered along Clark Street in search of BRRRAAAAIIIINNNNSSSS! During the course of the evening, the group visited Simon's Tavern, Charlie's Ale House and lastly, Hamburger Mary's. Loud chants of "Brains!" could be heard and seemed to get louder and more frequent as the night progressed. A good time was had by all and I'm glad I had the opportunity to attend.
