2008 Midwest Haunters Convention: "Scarefactory Tour" One of the stops on the Friday night bus tour was The Scarefactory’s new facility. Covering 60,000 square feet, this enormous building was filled with all sorts of props at various stages of completion. Along the one wall, there were tables set up with complimentary sandwiches, snacks and drinks. Guarding the refreshments were some larger-than-life creatures, each painted in bright neon colors. Throughout the facility were mass quantities of props and seemingly countless racks of molds & other prop-building materials. Also, along one of the main aisles there were some cash-and-carry items. Well, I’m really glad that I had the opportunity to get this unique, behind-the-scenes view of one of the largest and most prominent prop-makers in the Haunt Industry. Special thanks to David Fachman, President of
The Scarefactory, along with the rest of The Scarefactory staff, for opening up their doors and allowing the Haunt Community to check out their workshop. (Click on any of the thumbnails below for a larger image) Scarefactory Tour Pictures
