2009 Plague Day Over the past couple of years, zombie events have been all the rage in the Chicagoland area. Well, all that zombie popularity has now made its way up to Wisconsin. On August 15, 2009, approximately 140 zombies converged on the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha for "Plague Day". This day-long event had a number of planned activities including a costume contest, zombie pin-up contest, prize raffle and a zombie parade. The zombies were a big hit at the fair!
