2009 A Very
Bloody Valentine's Day For most people, Valentine's Day conjures up thoughts of Cupid, flowers and candy hearts; however, on February 14th, 2009 many people in the Chicagoland area celebrated this memorable day in a unique way... by dressing up as zombies. Why, you ask? To participate in a Zombie Pin-up Contest! Hosted by Kitty Zombie and brought to you by Sinister Visions Inc, this event was held at the Neo Nightclub in Chicago. That night many people got dressed up in their best zombie outfits to participate in the contest and others got dressed up just to join in the fun. It seems that recently these zombie gatherings have been gaining popularity throughout the Chicagoland area. Last year there were three or four zombie events and more are being planned this year.
