2010 Midwest Haunters Convention: Contests Ms. Midwest Scary Pageant Held during the masquerade ball, the Ms. Midwest Scary Pageant had eight pre-registered contestants who competed for the coveted title of Ms. Midwest Scary. The character bio of each contestant was read to the audience and each ghoul gave a short performance on stage.
Scariest Character Contest The Scariest Character Contest was also held during the masquerade ball. Throughout the evening, MHC's roaming panel of judges handed out ten invitations to party attendees with the scariest costumes, so they could participate in the contest. The winner received free admission to the following years' party, as well as other prizes.
