Summary:
Thanatophobialand is a yard display in Lockport, IL, which
was designed and built by Halloween enthusiasts Rick & Sue Rager. They started doing a yard display in 2001 and it has gotten more elaborate each year.
So you might ask exactly does "Thanatophobialand" mean? Rick & Sue explained to me that Thanatophobia is the fear of death, so Thanatophobialand is where you go to face that fear.
This detailed
display has three distinct sections. The front yard features a graveyard, the backyard is a dungeon and the inside of the garage has been transformed into a funeral parlor. A lot of work goes into this putting this event together and it really shows. In fact, Rick and Sue started planning
