Visibility/Location: It is on a State highway and in a fairgrounds so it is easily found.

Wait Entertainment: They always do this well...There is a guy that is wearing all black that is just the creepiest thing. He has a shoe fetish. Various other chain saws and such.

Length of Event: 20 minutes depending on what you count as the event. They have a hayrack ride that is just a hayrack ride.

Actor Performance: mixed...they have some great characters that provide a routine and some that do not speak. The stalkers serve double duty. I notice however that some scenes were not manned as intended while others were very well manned.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: no problem for us...

Appropriate Ages: They have a lot of younger kids with parents...this is not the massacre so they get away with that.

Props / Special FX: Nothing blew me away...they build a lot of their own animations so it is stuff I have never seen before. For a smaller haunt the amount and detail was really impressive.

Costumes / Make-up: I thought they really stepped it up in that department this year. This haunt used to have cheesy makeup and latex but they have really gone to character makeup and silicone. That makes the haunt feel better like they are serious.

Summary: Let me just say that the score thing has always thrown me. Not all haunts are equal. You cannot compare haunts of all different types and sizes. The twenty five to fifty haunts cost that for a reason. 8 for a medium size haunt is 10 for a big one.Having said that this one is one of the better of the small haunts. They do vortex tunnels, some 3d, really nice set design especially pirates and a clown room. DimensionX is billed as a departure from the"they won't touch you rule". They not only touch you but they blindfold you. For 10 dollars you get a cheap nights entertainment. It is worth a look.

Visibility/Location: Easy to find. Right in the Bureau County Fairgrounds on west side of town.

Wait Entertainment: A couple younger guys with "Walmart masks" and baseball bats as props. I'd give them a tick below average. But, there was some kind of a, well, not sure what you'd call it, in all black with one eye and a couple of dolls strapped to his back. This guy kept us on our toes during the short wait we did have.

Length of Event: Three buildings total, west to east was 5 minutes, 10 minutes and 7or8 minutes.

Actor Performance: Actor performance seemed to be a bit better than last year. Still some well below average, but the others made up for that loss.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Flow was great. Heard but never saw another group while inside. But did see others at entrances at beginnings.

Appropriate Ages: 10+

Props / Special FX: Appeared to be more animatronics than previous years. An entire stage set up in the clown room, with very good props and 5 or 6 animatronic clowns that fit in well with the "living" clowns. Same old props and animatronics in the Pirate rooms, but I like them. A few props didn't seem to fit in at all.

Costumes / Make-up: Some costumes are high dollar. A red haired clown and a black haired clown have big bucks in costumes. Many others would be average to just above average. Some homemade garb, but you could tell much thought was put into it. Still though, too many "Walmart masks" and quickly done makeup jobs.

Summary: Overall, looking at the big picture, and considering the lowest price haunt in the state (it has to be) this is a must see. Three building haunt. A bonfire. A hayrack ride. Concession stand with good pricing. And to top it off for Friday the 13th, a free live band! What better entertainment can you find for $10 per person? We spent just over an hour on location. Recommended.
