Visibility/Location: I am not from the area, and my gps seemed to be a little confused, however once close by it was the creepy "haunted house" music that guided us to the location. I did not see any signs or lights however, it may be a little hard to locate.

Wait Entertainment: Since I went on opening weekend, we really didn't have to wait. However before you enter the haunted house there is what I assume will be a staging area when they are busier which has a nice atmosphere and props.

Length of Event: 15-20 min

Actor Performance: great. Everyone stayed in character and interacted well with us. Everyone was professional. The best one was an actor who had a problem with a prop and improvised the sound of the prop with his voice instead, very funny, smart and professional.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: There was little crowd being very early in the haunted house season, so we did not wait to enter the haunted house. There was a small group ahead of us, and we were let in a few min after them and never caught them or even heard their group. It is set up extremely well.

Appropriate Ages: 13 and up

Props / Special FX: amazing use of all different types of props and effects. I think I saw a little bit of everything and even things I have not seen before as an avid haunted house afficionado. A lot of thought and planning was put into this attraction.

Summary: Overall this is the best haunted attraction I have visited in the last 4 to 5 years if not longer. The length was longer than most, and there were themes and rooms that were not just cliched haunted house stuff. The actors added to the overall experience instead of detracting from it, and the layout was unique and fun. The best part of this attraction I found was there were several rooms where I could not determine which character in the room was a prop or a real person, and it is set up in a way to facilitate this confusion so that you can be scared by the actor in a place you didn't expect, this fooled me a few times! Great job to the people who put this haunted house on. I am even thinking of getting a bigger group and making the 2 hour drive again before the season is over. Thank you for the time effort and thought obviously put into this attraction.

Visibility/Location: This wasn't hard to find at all. It was a nice night and with our windows down there's really creepy music that we heard from far away, and you can't miss this building. It's scary even from the outside, and popping with terror activity even in the parking lot.

Wait Entertainment: The best I've ever seen! The entrance felt like we walked right into a Stephen King novel! I thought the walls were gonna spew blood for a minute before we even got our admission. Incredible introductory scene, very technically and artistic minded staff here because wow, the bookshelves and the table and the look and feel, wow! I would've waited in that queue room for an hour and been thrilled, there was so much to see!

Length of Event: Took us about 20 or 30 minutes, to be honest we lost track we were too scared and enthralled and in awe!

Actor Performance: Woooooow wowwee wow what the wow! Hot dang! There were a couple simple pop up type scares, but the characters and the performances are some of the greatest we've ever seen! We loved how the themes shift and the characters fit their rooms so well. Special nods to the guy that wanted my skin (I think he honestly wanted it), the Frankenstein guy and monster girl (we saw them in the video and wow, I don't think they're acting either!), and the guy with the mask and the skeleton on his back that charged at us in the really dark hall with lightning and moving walls! Scared the sh!t out of us we almost fell backwards! Where did you come from bruh? I'm a Texan that is not supposed to happen and ill never admit to it again. That green fog hall next was dang cool too. And the clowns were phenomenal. Great cast I can not praise enough!

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Either this place has it down pat or I think our timing was great we didn't move fast at all and we didn't hear anybody behind is until the very end and never heard anyone in front, but we heard em screaming everywhere!

Appropriate Ages: Hell its appropriate for anybody that wants the poo scared from em. We had two youngsters under 6 years and they were clearly terrified but couldn't stop talking about it at the hotel. I think that's the point ay?

Props / Special FX: Boys and girls, you will never ever in your lives see more props and effects in a single haunted house! This is a really big place, and we were stunned, every room every corner every hallway had something animatronic I feel like we have to go through 30 more times to catch every detail. And let me tell you there's some head turners. There's a ghost in one dark hall that we spent half our drive west this morning arguing about and trying to figure out. It stares right into you....like it knew we were coming and it'd been there waitin for us. I'm gonna see that thing in a nightmare I know it. Kids thought it was real, maybe it was! Every room was so full of events, and the dolls, of boy. We see lots of places and applaud the work and talent it must've taken to get all that running, some kind of feat right there!

Costumes / Make-up: We didn't see anything crazy in the makeup but it wasn't ever over done like you tend to see in a haunted house and the costumes were great and fit perfectly into their respective areas.

Summary: Let me just say, we put our big family together and pile into our RV every year and drive to as many haunted houses as we can before they all shut down for the season. This place was #28 so far this season, we've been to well over a hundred in the last decade or so here, and in all the many years we've been running from place to place the Skellington Manor has been the most satisfying experience yet. What a thrill! All the way from the minute we stepped in until we got back to the rv, we were in the claws of this place. They're definitely way more techie than most anything else we've seen which is fresh to see, certain things just get under your skin and after the initial shock you wanna stop and admire it for a minute, but our kids dragged us forward hahaha. Not one thing feels like too much or out of place. And the staff is just phenomenal, the people in front are welcoming and talk with you, abd there was a young gentleman at the exit whose head we talked off for a good long time that was so friendly, he joked with our kids and listened to all our praise and answered all our dumb questions, we talked about horror films and he genuinely wanted to hear our opinions. There's a lot of grumps that just take our money and shove us through the doors and let us go without another word. We loved the opportunity to have a conversation with a staffer, and we could tell from that chat and from our whole experience the love and the dedication of everybody involved, and that's certainly what sets this place apart from the rest. There's a big evil black heart in there. No matter where you are you will not regret visiting this haunted house, I know we'll be sharing memories all year until we come back in 2018. Thank you Terror at Skellington Manor from my family to yours!

Visibility/Location: It is hard to say for someone never having been before....It doesn't have a huge flashing light but it is accessible being right downtown

Wait Entertainment: It has a variety of things to see and spook you before you get into the final line. They are as good as you are likely to see. I cannot say how they were outside as it was a light night and we went straight in.

Length of Event: About 30 minutes depending on your own pace...we let a group go by us as we were mesmerized by all the eye candy

Actor Performance: they are all into their characters and beholding to their scenes. Pros all the way. The spider walk girl is something I look forward to all year.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: as I said we let a group go by us as we were taking it all in. They have a great many of the video scare shares that require a little time to appreciate.

Appropriate Ages: Nothing over the top or gory here so your call as to what your child can handle. No one under 7 I would think.

Props / Special FX: My My My....you will be hard pressed to find more or better. Almost every scene has some form of Jumper or air driven something.

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes were as elaborate as the characters and as varied...from silicon to elaborate makeup to some latex

Summary: This is a haunt that competes for the top spot in the State every year. Last year I thought they fell short of the high standard. This year they return to one of the best haunts I have experienced. I don't know what else you want...great props, colorful characters with routines and jump scare actors fully using misdirection and surprise. This is the difference between a haunt that is built and actors just thrown in to a designed haunt with specific intent. Be aware that it is a building so you do have to climb steps to go to the various floors. It is not in a factory or a large out building. Kudos to you ,you have returned to the top.

Visibility/Location: Located within a old hotel setting, 3 floors of fright! Definitely need GPS to locate this attraction if youíve never attended before.

Wait Entertainment: Some light entertainment in the grand room, lots of effects throughout as you wait.

Length of Event: The length was around 25 minutes after entering up the staircase.

Actor Performance: The actors done a fantastic job, everyone we encountered was spot on and gave 100%.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow throughout was flawless and thatís saying a lot - this is a large attraction and draws big numbers. We have in the past experience some issues with grouping however nothing tonight slowed our progress throughout.

Appropriate Ages: I would suggest at least 10 years old, there is some major fear factor scares here.

Props / Special FX: The props and special effects here are actually better than most larger attractions in Chicago or St. Louis - the Quad Cities should be very proud of this event ! Thereís more effects and animated props here than youíll ever see going through t several times, itís that intense!

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes and makeup is flawless here, nothing cheap and no masks ! Absolutely perfect!

Summary: We have attended this event for years now and every year it just improves. I canít imagine ever passing on this attraction, itís a standout among all haunted houses. Iíve praised this attraction ever year and Iím a hard sell, but value wise alone itís by far the best bang for your buck! This old hotel setting alone gives it high marks and then filling it with tons of creatures, monsters, CGI effects, and animatronic figures and your worst nightmare comes true - A plus !$
