| Overall Score:|
|Scare Factor: High | Atmosphere: Very Good|
Visibility/Location: very good. It's a huge old building off of a main road with lighting and a bonfire in front
Wait Entertainment: there were people in costumes putting on skits. fun.
Length of Event: 15-20 minutes
Actor Performance: excellent! great costumes, makeup and creativity. everyone was in character and very scary!
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: they take groups of 4-5 at a time so you have room experience everything. Another group doesn't go in until you're in the basement so you don't see any other group. It was very well set up.
Appropriate Ages: It was pretty scary and shocking so I'd say 10 and up
Props / Special FX: Lots of awesome props and special fx, especially in basement. Upstairs is surreal, rooms and secret doors, it's like you're really lost in a twilight-zone episode.
Costumes / Make-up: Some of the actors had make-up, some costumes. Very disturbing and eerie, very good.
Summary: The locals say that years ago a man was found dead in this old abandonded cheese house and his ghost has been spotted around Monee since. They call him "Squatter Joe". Great story to get you geared up, the location and building is perfect for a haunted house. Money well worth it, $7. They also do Haunted Hay rides through the local cemetary with haunts in it for only $1. Overall it was a great experience and very easy to get to from the city. Expressway all the way down, only took 40 minutes! Well worth it
