Visibility/Location: Visibility was good, strobe light on huge sign.

Wait Entertainment: We watched the original version of The Mummy while waiting. There was no sound, so we did the MST3K thing and enjoyed ourselves. There was something sticky on the floor towards the front of the line, hopefully they'll clean that up.

Length of Event: About what I would have expected from a church sponsored haunted house.

Actor Performance: Mostly just jumping out and saying boo. The beginning and end actors did a good job, it's just the material that was offensive to me.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: They kept everyone in groups of three or four, and I'll admit they did an excellent job of keeping the groups from running into each other.

Appropriate Ages: I'd say it's appropriate for all ages. Nothing so terrible that a child accompanied by a parent couldn't handle. It was, after all, sponsored by a church.

Props / Special FX: There were a couple good uses of hiding in the open that were somewhat impressive.

Costumes / Make-up: For the most part, it was just people in masks. I've both seen and done better.

Summary: Ok, here's the fun part. The haunted house part itself was decent, and mostly worth the five dollar + canned good entry fee. I was especially impressed with the person hanging from the ceiling in the costume from Scream among the tubing, so you couldn't see him/her very well, and possibly not until running into them. However, I am very displeased and offended at the misleading nature of their advertisments. No where in their advertisements does it say that this haunted house is sponsored by a Christian church, nor does it give any clue that one should expect a sermon at both the beginning and the end. This deception, which in my opinion is very deliberate, traps people into sitting through a Christian sermon in which they quote bible passages and insinuate that we will all endure eternal suffering if we do not believe as they do. This is, in my humble opinion, misleading, inappropriate, and above all else, wrong. Preaching is fine, because I can choose not to go to their church or relocate myself if they take the soapbox approach. I do NOT appreciate being tricked into believing that I'm going out for some entertainment and then being trapped into having someone else's religious belief's forced down my throat.

That is all I have to say.
