|Scare Factor: High | Atmosphere: Very Good|
Visibility/Location: Can't miss the flashing lights at the entrance.
Wait Entertainment: Actors were great at scaring the crowd. I saw at least 5 different actors going around. Music was from differnt rock groups like ozzy osbourne, and the trailer from Statesville Haunted Prison was being played. Overall if you've got friends then it shouldn't be too bad.
Length of Event: Around an hour for both houses.
Actor Performance: Every was great and doing their job to scare you. Everyone was acting out their role with more enthusiasm probably because we were the first ones there. Overall, the actors were on target.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: We actually bumped into the group in front of us MANY times. So simply put, Statesville failed in this category.
Appropriate Ages: Honestly 12 and up. The language and scare factor isn't for anyone under 12.
Props / Special FX: Amazing!!! From the man being executed to the creature from resident evil. All the themes were detailed and graphic. Lots of strobe lights and fog. For 25 dollars, the props were plenty and noticable.
Costumes / Make-up: Costumes were great when you can actually see them. Many areas are very dark and all you can see are the paint on the actors faces due to blacklight use.
Summary: For a steep price of 25 dollars, the props and entertainment was great. You have to experience firsthand to know what i'm talking about. Whether it's your first haunted house or tenth, it's a differnt haunted house compared to the other ones. As for me I didn't get scared at all, even being in front of the line most of the time. I can't say that about the other people I was with.
