|Scare Factor: High | Atmosphere: Good|
Visibility/Location: i already knew the location from last year, but if you are not familiar with the area, you have to really look for it. no lit up signs or anything, just remember north ave & rohwling rd intersection, on the northwest corner in the plaza.
Wait Entertainment: pretty cool set up for waiting in a line, plus it's indoors so you are not freezing your butt off! ;)
Length of Event: between 20-25 minutes
Actor Performance: very entertaining actors, they really get into it!
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: i went twice in one week, and the two experiences were very different...the 1st time we had a security guard "chaperone" three quarters of the way walking thru behind us, the 2nd time a big group of people followed us closely thru the whole thing, the first girl even held on to my jacket the whole time thru!! she wouldnt let go!!
Appropriate Ages: 13 & up
Props / Special FX: i especially liked the church pews, you had to walk right smack in between them wondering when someone was gonna jump out and ofcourse that one scared me!
Costumes / Make-up: decent make-up, a lot of masks, some were better than others...
Summary: overall, it was good. when we went the first time, it was much scarier, bcuz we didnt know what was coming next, plus the grand finale was awesome, i really felt like i was in the texas chainsaw massacre, he chased us all the way across the parking lot!! the 2nd time, was still good, but not as scary bcuz that girl wouldnt let go of my jacket, plus there was no guy at the end with a chainsaw ;( hopefully, you'll go on a night where all the actors are there! ;) plus, the black mazes were crazy, bcuz you really cant see anything and it can get pretty creepy when you are wallking in the dark for a while!! definitely worth the visit tho~!! ;)
|Scare Factor: High | Atmosphere: Good|
Visibility/Location: pretty visible as long as you know where you are going, it is just past the courthouse when you take county farm rd turn down manchester and look for the green strobe lights on your left...
Wait Entertainment: very entertaining!
Length of Event: 20 minutes give or take
Actor Performance: excellent! went twice in one week, and they were phenomenol both times!! ;)
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: we didnt run into anyone else so it was perfect timing
Appropriate Ages: the 2nd time we brought my nephews and the four year old was quivering and petrified the whole entire time, the 8 yr old was scared but loving it, so i would say 8 and up! they are really good with the kids, so it is definitely family friendly, but still scary enuf for the adults!!
Props / Special FX: they put a lot of time into the props and we were very entertained both times!
Costumes / Make-up: they were all in make-up and the rest were in scary looking masks, i loved every single costume in this haunted house! a job well done guys!! ;)
Summary: this was a great haunted house. a lot of fun, and a alot of thrills throughout, well made and scary overall! we especially loved the mazes and the guy with the creepy laugh!! he kept popping around every corner until we found the next room~!! plus this was one of the only haunted houses where you actually had to get down on your hands and knees and crawl thru pitch black tunnels, so i gotta say this was one of my favorites this year so far!! ;)
|Scare Factor: Very High | Atmosphere: Very Good|
Visibility/Location: as long as you mapquest it, and follow directions, you will easily find it, and once you are on the street, the signs are very lit up and visible, you can't miss it.
Wait Entertainment: the texas chainsaw massacre was playing on a huge screen tv while you are waiting in line, luckily when we got there, there wasnt much of a line!! ;)
Length of Event: 45-50 minutes!!!
Actor Performance: the best i have seen yet, and i have been to a lot of haunted houses in the last decade!! these guys are pros!!
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: there was only two of us, and we never ran into any other groups. it seemed as if we had the whole place to ourselves, which really raised the bar on the scare factor!!
Appropriate Ages: atleast 13 and up!!!
Props / Special FX: this haunted house had a lot of time and footwork put into it, no question. the best & most realistic props i have seen in years! each room had it's own theme, and i am talking very scary!!!
Costumes / Make-up: phenomenol make-up and costumes!! they put a lot of money, time, & effort into this haunted house and we enjoyed every minute of the visuals!!
Summary: this was hands down, the scariest and craziest haunted house we have been to in years!! probably the best one i have ever been to in my life!! there were so many different things to see here, not to mention the amount of times i went running out of each room!! these guys chase you, they call you by first name, you walk thru a scary dark forest out doors down one path to a house, then thru the house to another path to another house, and so on!! and to top that off, the van ride was crazy!!! this is beyond worth the ten dollars, i would have paid 25 easily for this house, and it was more than worth the drive!! this one is not for the light hearted, be prepared to scream, like the name says!! the smaller your group, the more scared you will be, and you can take THAT to the bank!!! ;) if you only hit one more haunted house this year, MAKE SURE it is this one!! we were speechless by the time we got to the car, and the reaper on stiltz over 9 ft tall chased me out to the car, and even opened my car door after i got in!!! i cannot express enuf how insane this haunted house really is!!!! two thumbs WAY UP~!!!! :)
