|Scare Factor: Very High | Atmosphere: Very Good|
Visibility/Location: although this house is not too visible ticked into the corner of an otherwise quiet park, the directions on both their info line & website were very helpful... Also the nice white signs when we reached the area was good too...
Wait Entertainment: GREAT!!! It was so much fun watching as several "creatures" crawled and ran about the place... from a slithery, fanged, skeleton, to a black cloaked red devil, to my favorite, the scarecrow... We forget we were waiting to be scared because we were too busy being scared LOL... I have been to this house for many years and I have to say the wait entertainment was the best this year... The look of the house this year was great as well with a coffin and a body, and the cobwebs... all of these things put together made the line atmosphere rather bone chilling..
Length of Event: about 7 min
Actor Performance: I hear this is a volunteer house and I can only say that the actors in this house out scare most paid actors in houses I have seen... They are in your face, intence, & right on the mark with timing
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: I would have to say good cuz I never saw another group in there when I was there
Appropriate Ages: 8 - 10+ but I saw an adult with tears so I guess it depends
Props / Special FX: I didnt see much FX but the actors more then made up for that...
Costumes / Make-up: the make up was good, worked very well with the rooms & the costumes
Summary: If you like to walk thru the houses where you see 4 monsters and a bunch of dark hallways then this house isnt for you, BUT if you want an in your face, blood pumping, heart racing scare The Brokfield Jaycees Haunted House is the house for you!! You can tell that the Jaycees love what they do and this is their passion... Great job Brookfield!!!
