Visibility/Location: Great location, an old building in the middle of a down town area.

Wait Entertainment: Had one actor roaming the line, he scared a few people but was also pretty humorous. They could have used some more wait entertainment since the wait was so long.

Length of Event: About 8 minutes. It was pretty short, but deffinately worth the $7 ticket price.

Actor Performance: Some actors were really great, others were lacking. I saw two actors talking before we got to their scene, which was a little disappointing. Almost all of them had really good timing however.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Really cool setup here. The largest group they allow at once is 4 people (I believe), and I went in with only my girlfriend! We saw the group ahead of us, but they do a really good job of spacing the group out. It's hard to regulate perfectly since the entire thing is completely un-guided.

Appropriate Ages: 12+ unless they are not easily frightened.

Props / Special FX: They could use some more moving props, but the rooms were very detailed and well decorated.

Costumes / Make-up: Great makeup and costumes pretty much throughout.

Summary: This haunt did a lot of things I had never seen before such as a part where you crawl, and some tricky doors. It was really different, and I loved pretty much every moment of it. It wasn't one of the more scary houses I have been to, but it is a must see in my opinion for their originality. Great show guys!

Visibility/Location: with a couple police cars along with lighted signs, you definately can not miss this place. The location is great too, right off a major road in a corn field.

Wait Entertainment: It was a pretty short wait, but they did have actors scaring throughout the line. They also had TV's in the wait area, but they weren't on probably because the wait was so short.

Length of Event: 45 minutes total (without waiting time)

Actor Performance: This haunt always has outstanding actors, and this year was no different. Not a single actor was out of character, and their roles were very well done.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: This was an unguided haunted house, so we saw the group ahead of us a couple of times. Although, there is a mid point where they make the groups wait in order to seperate them further.

Appropriate Ages: 13+

Props / Special FX: In many sections of Statesville, I couldn't tell if things were actors or props. They did a great job with effects as well, the mental hospital part of the haunt was awesome! They added a nice touch in a certain room, but you might get a little wet!

Costumes / Make-up: Costumes were very professional, make-up was lifelike.

Summary: My girlfriend nearly started crying inside this place! It is extremely scary, and very fun. They changed a lot of it from last year, including an entirely new scene with trailer trash and pig-people. The mental hospital expanded as well, it's almost half of the whole tour now, which I loved. The only thing they could have improved upon was patron flow, as we did bump into another group about a quarter of the way through. This is still by far my favorite haunted house I have been to.

Visibility/Location: Best location of any haunt I have visited yet. It's in a big old building that is very visible and obvious. There are men directing traffic and lights everywhere.

Wait Entertainment: There was absolutely no wait! but there were actors scaring people outside of the building.

Length of Event: About 10 minutes.

Actor Performance: Some really good actors, some bad ones. Overall, I would say a decent job with acting. The clown was pretty lacking, as was the actor in the woods scene. (which would have been an AWESOME scene if it had better acting.)

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Excellent. Each group has a guide that walks very steadily and you never see another group.

Appropriate Ages: 10+

Props / Special FX: They had some extremely detailed and high-tech props that went very well with the atmosphere. The scenes were some of the best I have seen (especially the woods, the jack the ripper, and the doctor).

Summary: This was deffinately worth going to. It wasn't one of the most frightening haunted houses due to some poor acting and having not enough actors in general, but it was still a lot of fun and very cool. Some girls in my group were terrified still, so it can still make you jump pretty well. One thing the owners should consider- little kids are not scary! They actually ruin the atmosphere most of the time, which they nearly did here. Overall, I'm very glad I went and it was an extremely well-done and well put together event.
