|Scare Factor: Very Low | Atmosphere: Very Good|
Visibility/Location: You can see the display from the street. The location is great and easily viewable from three different directions. The best is when you walk up to the display and can make the animations work. My kids enjoyed that!
Wait Entertainment: The wait was not long and they allow you to walk up to the display and interact with it.
Length of Event: I had a hard time convincing my kids to get back in the car, they were having so much fun. If you have kids, plan on spending at least 20-30 minutes.
Actor Performance: There were no live actors, only animation. The owner said they plan on expanding more next year. We will be back to see the additions!
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow was good.
Appropriate Ages: All ages.
Props / Special FX: I can't believe the owner hand-crafted all of the props at the scene. The detail on the brick of the clock tower is so real. It is hard to believe that it is only made of styrofoam. I thought it was real brick. The clock is over 12 feet tall and has animation in the window. My kids enjoyed making the animation work as it is all done by sounds.
Costumes / Make-up: The animation is nice. There are no actors so no make-up is necessary. The costumes were nice on the animation, not scary at all.
Summary: It is a small display, which they plan on expanding next year. The realism of the clock tower is amazing and it must have taken a lot of time to do all of it by hand. My kids can't wait to go back next year to see the additions. The display wasn't scary at all. The kids laughed and enjoyed making the animation move. The smoke effect gave it the right finishing touch it needed. The owners are available and more than willing to discuss the display and how it was created as well as demonstrating the various animation effects. It is obvious that they enjoy Halloween and creating all that they did vey much. Definitely not just a drive by site.
