Visibility/Location: fairly easy to find just outside of arcola,IL.

Wait Entertainment: none that I seen.

Length of Event: a long ,long time, from 7pm to midnight.

Actor Performance: good,we found the actors to be good, they were all over the place, everywhere you went they were there.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: no problems at all for us.

Appropriate Ages: all ages ,they also have a kids haunt for the little ones.

Props / Special FX: we thought they did a good job for the first year on there own.

Costumes / Make-up: the costumes were original and very good, some masks and alot of make-up jobs.

Summary: I took my whole family and we thought it was very good,I think the last review was a little bias because the black powder guns were shot off near the daughter which is understandable,I to would be upset, however I work in the HH indusrty also and I find this place to have exellent potential for a great haunt, the old school is very scary and could make for some great scares,if you are looking to get really scared then this is not the place for you,but if you are looking to have a great time with family and friends then you will like it,we will return to this haunt next year .

Visibility/Location: Easy to find, I have been there before.

Wait Entertainment: There were a couple characters that spoke with us. The grave digger was helpful with information that was not given to us otherwise.

Length of Event: an hour and a half

Actor Performance: Not impressed at all in this area. Most did not stay in character. Big complaints about the 3 "actors" in the corn maze. They were using profanity, talking about drinking alcohol and not in character at all. Some actors were just annoying.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: There was noone in front of us in the haunted barn. Very few people there, but it was a Wednesday night.

Appropriate Ages: Any age

Props / Special FX: I did not see any at all. They were really into shooting blanks from pistols and shotguns. A shotgun was let off about a foot or two from my daughters head and really hurt her ears. I found this very dangerous and it was not appriciated at all.

Costumes / Make-up: Mostly masks. And several people were just in hoodies and jeans.

Summary: I work in a haunted house and know how much work is put into a production like this, but I really think this was lacking a lot. We were in there on a Wednesday night and I expected there to be less actors, but I was really disapointed from what I had seen on the other review. The actors in the corn maze we very upseting in the way they were acting. They were young teenagers I believe, and having them use a gun of any type with out adult supervision was very bad judgement on the managements part. The actors on the train were very predictable and always seen before they tried to scare. Overall I don't think this haunt is worth the addmission price and I think they need to reconcider some of their safty issues.

Wait Entertainment: nothing in the lot ,its all inside.

Length of Event: up to 5 hours.

Actor Performance: very good ,they have many actors roming the grounds.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: no problems at all,its a festive attraction.

Appropriate Ages: all ages.

Props / Special FX: the have some good effects.

Costumes / Make-up: these folks do a great job with make-up and masks as well.

Summary: This gets my vote for best in IL,not for scare factor whitch is good also, I pick it cause of the family idea, were else can you go for a whole evening of fun, hayrides haunted barn and haunted cave, haunted town, corn maze, and you can go through them as many times as you wish, food and drink with great atmosphere we just loved it,here is a small video of the haunted cave I did, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCRYnE0tcrQ I highly recomend this one.... you wont be sorry, fun for the whole family, and no I dont work there BUT I know we will be going there every year.Chuck F.
