Visibility/Location: Easy to find in downtown Rantoul

Wait Entertainment: Some of the actors came upstairs and were quite fun!

Length of Event: 20 minutes

Actor Performance: Very good - really enjoyed the clowns, jester, and nurse.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Didn't run into any other groups. Could hear screams in other parts of the haunted house, which built anticipation.

Appropriate Ages: 12+

Props / Special FX: Cool video in the 1st room and the old lady with the spinning head was a neat prop! Silent Hill room was well done.

Costumes / Make-up: Some were better than others but all themes were very creative.

Summary: This haunt had many great scares and surprises. I will be sure to get back next year - especially since they promised bigger and better things! Best suprise of the year and very underrated!

Visibility/Location: Not so much. It's in the basement of a pet shop. Other than the OPEN sign, not much else. They should work on this. This place is worth it to find.

Wait Entertainment: Nothing (unless you count petting the cutest puppies EVER), but there was no one else in line either so no need.

Length of Event: 20 mins or a bit longer. This one was longer than expected. Kept thinking it was over and it wasn't. That's a good thing!

Actor Performance: They all did a great job. Timing was great!

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Didn't see another group although we heard some screams.

Appropriate Ages: Haunted houses are meant for fun. It seriously kills the fun to see a scared and crying child. Just say NO!!

Props / Special FX: It wasn't the flashiest place we've been to but there were enough unique ideas that I was impressed. Clown props I hadn't seen before.

Costumes / Make-up: All appropriate. Good mix. Good job!

Summary: This was a long tour. It ran the whole length of the building. It was so dark and confusing in spots that I started to wonder at one point if we had gotten off the trail and were in a place we were supposed to be. Then someone scared the crap out of me and I knew we were right on.
I liked the dark hallways and narrow corners. Some of the corners were painful with the group I was with, but whatever. One thing I was quite surprised with were all the places that you could stumble or trip on. Raised door jambs, helter skelter boards on the floor. It didn't bother me a bit, but I would imagine some patrons would be blathering about safety concerns. Yeah, yeah.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this one and will definitely be back next year!! I was very surpised to find out they have been there for 12 years. They definitely need more advertising. Totally worth a run through.

Visibility/Location: right downtown, had no trouble finding.

Wait Entertainment: Did not see anything but screaming kids running for their life.

Length of Event: 20 minutes

Actor Performance: Outstanding and on time. Went for all in the group.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Never ran into a group, and it was not easy to find your way.

Appropriate Ages: 10+

Props / Special FX: Not a lot of effects, but the usual strobes etc.

Costumes / Make-up: Great costumes. The Silent Hill room was a stand out, very well done.

Summary: We have traveled to over 20 Haunted Houses and this was well worth the trip. The actors were full on out to get you and they had you stuck in the middle of the scares. The Nurse in Silent Hill was awesome as well as the clowns. I was on the edge for what seemed like eternity..Great job..can't wait to see next year. This was the best surprise of the year!!

Visibility/Location: Not too hard to find. They had a sign off of Illinois 57 pointed to the downtown area where it was located.

Wait Entertainment: None that we saw. But the house is located in the basement of a pet store and could play with the puppies they had for sale.

Length of Event: 15-20 minutes

Actor Performance: All the actors were great and for the most part stayed in character. Did see and hear 2 in a room after the scare talking to each other.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Did not run into any other groups. You could hear other patrons scream though as you were walking through the house which added to the excitement.

Appropriate Ages: 10 and up.

Props / Special FX: Nothing special in the way of special effects, dark, dank basement was a nice effect. It added to the creepiness of the tour.

Costumes / Make-up: Great masks and make-up. @ people that stood out was the Silent Hill Nurse and killer. The nurse ranks up there with the tops actors that I saw on our haunted house excusions this month. A++ for her.

Summary: We have been traveling down to Rantoul for a couple of years and have missed this one everytime. I am glad we stopped. With the heavy metal music playing in the background and the in you face scares it was great. The house features long dark hallways into each room and then another long hallways. In some places the hallways were pitch black. The house you are given a rope to stay together but there is no guide and yes as ex-haunters ourselves we prefer the no guide houses. It just adds to the suspense. The cost was $7.00 and well worth the money. We are definetly putting this one our list of haunts to visit next year. Keep up the good work guys!
