|Scare Factor: Very High | Atmosphere: Very Good|
Visibility/Location: Good mild lightiong, with being almost dark, black lites, strobes and red lites used, also a few fog machines I think.
Wait Entertainment: none
Length of Event: took about 5 minutes for us to get threw, was worth every minute
Actor Performance: There were about 7 actors, most of them being part of a a single small room with a theme or actors that seemed to move from room to room. Most of the actors were very scary and there were allot of out of no where scaring, I heard allot of screaming coming from girls and teens. The electric chair room was a big surprise, and the zombie room was worth the wait.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: We were lead by a hoste who had a costume on, he explained some of the different rooms and warned us of strange things, we huddled together in a group of 5 to 6.
Appropriate Ages: I spoke with the hoste and he explained that they tone it down for younger children and the elderly, he tells the crew in advance of the up coming thrill seekers. I was very happy with how they handled the smaller children.
Props / Special FX: Most of the props in the Haunted Barn are hand made from different materials of wood plastic and old items. I was very impressed with the coffins, electric chair, and flying skeleton, there were a few over the counter props that were placed in different areas to make you look at, thats when the actors got you. Great props though.
Costumes / Make-up: All the costumes seemed very real, the zombies and coffin dwellers were very realistic in many ways, the wandering actors costumes seemed real in the dark light and fog.
Summary: All in all I enjoyed this haunted barn, it is a short walk but seemed like a long walk with all the thrills it holds, I think there were 9 to 11 rooms total each having some sort of theme and thrill in it. More props were added from last year, and this one seems much better than last years. There is no charge, but donations are accepted wich is givin to local charity's. Great bunch of people and scary. Thumbs up from me!
