Visibility/Location: Easy to find. Auburn isn't that big.

Wait Entertainment: I enjoyed talking to the other patrons in line. We were in an area with several entertaining folks.

Length of Event: 10-15 mins.

Actor Performance: Overall not too bad. Most of the actors seemed to be getting into their roles. The only problem that I had was that the timing seemed to be meesed up with the scares.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Very good. Didn't run into anyone else other thatn dead people!

Appropriate Ages: I wouild think that anyone 8+ would be fine.

Props / Special FX: Without trying to seem mean, The props were kind of, well... cheesy. Nothing that you wouldn't see in any other haunt. Nothing seemed to really stand out.

Costumes / Make-up: The make-up and costumes were good. You could see alot of time and imagination had been put into them.

Summary: Overall we had a good time. I was with 3 others, and we all came to the same conclusion that with the timing being off on the major scares, it wasn't as cool as it could have been. Sometimes you would walk into a room, and still see the actors getting into position. Maybe they were just having a bad night.
We actually talked about going back another night. Most of the other reviews seemed so positive.

Visibility/Location: On the square in Petersburg. Very easy to find. Petersburg is not that big of a town.

Wait Entertainment: Being the first weekend, most of the entertainment was the people in the crowd. There were a few goulies running around, and popping their heads out of the upstairs windows.

Length of Event: Roughly 15 mins. once inside

Actor Performance: The actors were spot on when we went through. The timing and misdirection prior to the scares was very good. I have been through many haunts in my life and can usually spot a scare coming. But, that being said, they "got" me a few times. All the actors seemed to be having a great time scaring the heck out of our group.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: They use guides to take you through, so once we got started, it flowed nicely.

Appropriate Ages: I would say no one younger that 6-7. Some of the FX are pretty real. Younger children might have a problem with it.

Props / Special FX: The FX are excellent!! You can see that the crew puts in major time perfecting everything from the erie sounds to the jaw-dropping visual effects.
This is NOT the type of thing that you would expect to find in a small town in the middle of Illinois.
These guys know how to put the creep in creepy. Every room has something different to look at. There is no way that you can take it all in.

Costumes / Make-up: No masks. No goofy clowns or cartoon characters. It's all the undead and ghosts.
But these undead.... They are FAST!!!
The make-up and clothing is perfect for the funeral home theme.

Summary: All in all we had a great time. Checking out all the surroundings once you are inside is half of the coolness of this place. This attraction isn't all scares. It's creepy, eerie, spooky, and AWESOME!
Buy the speed passes. We did and got right to the front of the line. It's worth the few extra bux!
I don't know why, but they limit the amount of speed passes every night.

Visibility/Location: Near the square in Auburn

Wait Entertainment: There was a movie screen outside showing horror films, and another small theater inside showing the same.

Length of Event: 10-12 mins once inside

Actor Performance: The actors were pretty energetic. they seemed to be in sync with the scares.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Pretty quick. There wasn't alot of people there when we arrived.

Appropriate Ages: 10+

Props / Special FX: Not bad. Alot of the props looked like things that the crew found in the basement, which added to the originality. The FX were minimal. Mostly scares.

Costumes / Make-up: Not bad either. There was definatly some time involved in the costume prep.
The make up that we saw was fairly minimal. They could have done more there. (In all fairness, I was busy trying to control on of the girls that was in our group. She was freaking out alittle bit, and her freinds were tired of babysitting her, so I did. So I didn't get to pay attention to all the detail that i might have usually done.)

Summary: Overall we had a decent enough time. The little theater is still real cool.
I like the dampness and dankness of this attraction, but I really get into special effects, ect.
This haunt is mostly scares.
It was cool for the kids in the crowd, but I like a little bit of a mental challenge along with the big "BOO"!
After awhile, Jumping out and screaming gets a little old.
