Visibility/Location: I didn't notice any signs along the highway directing traffic. The friends that went had been before and knew where to go. But the town is so small that if I had been alone I would have found it with minimal trouble. The building was brightly lit and after turning off the highway I did see one directional sign.

Wait Entertainment: The wait area was very well decorated, very creepy and dimly lit. Combined with the sounds of the haunted house, the decorations created great anticipation and mood. When we arrived there were about 20 people ahead of us (going in 5 at a time) and we waited about 30 minutes for our turn. There were no actors roaming the wait area or movies playing to pass the time.

Length of Event: around 15-20 minutes

Actor Performance: The actors were well hidden and wonderfully timed. They did a great job mixing up the scares; sometimes getting those in the front of the group, then waiting next time for those in the rear. They were frightening, but also helpful; guiding us when we weren't sure where to go.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Some areas were dark and took us a little longer to navigate, but overall the path was obvious. Part of our wait in line had to do with the speed of groups going in ahead of us. Another group was allowed inside only after the first one got to a particular point.

Appropriate Ages: a mature 10 and up

Props / Special FX: One of the first props used has left our entire group wondering how it was done and we are all divided on an answer. I won't give it away, but on this prop alone I would recommend this haunt to anyone. It was effective in disorienting us and making us more vulnerable to the scares ahead.

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes I saw were hideous, gruesome, and terrifying; just as they should be. There were some that we didn't know what they were supposed to be, but they scared us all the same.

Summary: This was my first experience at this haunt. I wasn't expecting much for the size of the town, but I was very pleased about our spur of the moment decision to go. We all took a canned good to get the $1 off admission. We went to 2 other haunts afterward, but we talked about this one all night. I look forward to next year.
