Visibility/Location: signs are visible from the main road through mazon, just follow them.

Wait Entertainment: They have incredible wait entertainment, it is enjoyable just standing in line watching the actors scaring people in line. There are also night vision cameras in the house that you can watch on tv in line.

Length of Event: probably 15 minutes to get through it all.

Actor Performance: The actors were okay, it wasn't what I normally get out of this haunted house.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: We never ran into any other groups so they did a real good job separating everyone.

Appropriate Ages: Probably 7 and up

Props / Special FX: There were some good props, I always love the picture drops, and the hanging things from the ceiling while you are walking through the dark.

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes are good, more store bought then makeup, but they do a good job making them realistic.

Summary: This house is first on my list every year, and I don't know if it was because it was their first weekend opening or if it just wasn't as good as the years before. I just wasn't as impressed as I had been all the previous years and I think I have gone to this one every year since they opened. The wait entertainment seemed to be the best part this year and the house was a little lacking and I left feeling I missed out on something. The little boy still is the best in the whole house although he has grown now and they changed his role a bit, but it still scares the heck out of you seeing him coming at you. I usually do this one more than once a year, but I am thinking once is enough this year. Maybe next year.

Visibility/Location: There aren't any signs from route 66 but if you are on 23 there is a large sign pointing to the 4 H park and all you have to do is follow them.

Wait Entertainment: There wasn't any when we got there but we showed up as soon as it opened so it may be a little better later in the night, every other year the wait entertainment was good.

Length of Event: The length of time really depends on you, the Haunted house probably took 20 minutes, the maze longer depending on how well you get through it. All together we were probably in there an hour and we had help getting out.

Actor Performance: The actors were great, the scares were right on cue and I would of been a whole lot more frightened if I wasn't trying to keep two kids from being scared.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: We didn't meet up with any other groups until we came to one section that we couldn't figure out how to walk through, and neither could they. We also did run into people wandering around the maze, but I don't think that could be helped.

Appropriate Ages: We took a 4 year old who had gone to this one last year, and he was real scared so I would say probably 10 would be a good age.

Props / Special FX: Great props, hard time finding the doors out of the rooms, and when you did they weren't what you would expect for a door. They had shrinking rooms, and a tunnel that made you think you were spinning. Loved the room with the spots, that one was great.

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes were very good, they weren't store bought masks, they used actual makeup that suited their parts well.

Summary: I usually hit several haunted houses in the area every year, I have even driven an hour or more because I am hard to scare, normally this one is never at the top of my list but I go because it is close, but this year it was terrific. The people really got into it, and you get the haunted house and the maze for one price, I intend to go back again with no small children so I can enjoy it a little more. I would definitely recommend Henry Street Horrors for anyone who wants to get their moneys worth for a good haunted house.
