| Overall Score:|
|Scare Factor: High | Atmosphere: Very Good|
Visibility/Location: You can't miss it--we didn't even have an exact address (only the name of the street) and spotted it, and heard it, right away!
Wait Entertainment: n/a--a yard display so no wait involved
Length of Event: We were allowed to take as much time as needed to capture the atmosphere and walk through the scenes (including a haunted shed)
Actor Performance: We didn't go on a busy night with all actors present, but the actor that night was fully committed to character and had some creative ways of drawing us in to some of their scares
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: n/a
Appropriate Ages: all ages
Props / Special FX: Amazing!!! You would think you were stepping into a horror movie with the level of detail involved. We were shocked to learn that most of the props and effects were handmade! Maybe that is why this yard display/home haunt was so unique.
Costumes / Make-up: The costume of the actor fit the scene perfectly. You'll have to see it to know what we're talking about.
Summary: We've never before been to a yard display/home haunt so detailed and original as this one. The animated characters/creatures moved in such a convincing way that I actually thought one of them was a real person. This yard display used creepy props, lifelike animation, eerie lighting and fog, as well as sound effects to set some amazing scenes. The main scene was a cemetary display taking up most of the vast yardspace. In our walk around the winding display, we ended up at the shed, where we found a live actor and a number of surprises. And this was on one of the nights without their full group of actors! It's a shame more people don't know about this display. We are telling everyone we know! :)
