Visibility/Location: Pretty easy to find-right off Route 29 in Berry. There is sign marked BOO also! They have a huge parking lot so there is ample parking.

Wait Entertainment: They have a fire going and music playing. There are a few actors running around scaring people in very nice masks. They also sell drinks and small snacks!

Length of Event: 15-20 Minutes

Actor Performance: The characters makeups fit the rooms they were in and they stayed in character. Actors do a good job in the roles they portray. There are even some very small actors who can suprise you since you`re not really expecting them to come out at you!

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Flow was good we heard other groups but didn`t run into them until we got into the maze. In one room we were held up by the actor in the room so we didn`t run into another group. While we were being detained the actress was staring us down and that was kinda creepy!

Appropriate Ages: Ages 7 and up since most of the actors are young and they can wear the flashy light also. I beleive they also have "daylight" hours for the really scared ones who wish to come through.

Props / Special FX: Props and special fx are fantastic at Boo Crew. The rooms always looks so real! The vortex tunnel is always fun and dizzying and I also love the staircase, but my faveorite was the clown room-BUBBLES!!!

Costumes / Make-up: They have a mix of awesome masks and airbrush makeups very well done. They are not a gory haunt.

Summary: Overall Boo Crew is a great haunt, the atmosphere is fun. I like that they have a few obstacles to go through also! They seem to put a lot of work into the rooms each year. They do have a lot of smaller younger actors who do a good job but it just isn`t as scary as some, but they make that up in the details of the rooms. The waiting room is always decorated well with some characters running in and out chasing people. They have a scary moving playing while you wait to enter. I have gone to Boo Crew for 4 years now and I will definitely be back next year!

Visibility/Location: Located just outside of Berry, IL on Route 29. A flashing sign guides you in as well as some Boo! signs.

Wait Entertainment: There were a couple of decent actors walking around and messing with people in line. But most just walked around and didnt really scare anyone.

Length of Event: From the time we parked until we got back to the car was about an hour and a half. The haunted house itself took around twenty minutes to get through.

Actor Performance: A lot of young girls this year! And they did not do much more than just walk up and stare at you...not so scary! But a couple of the clowns were really good!

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: It was ok, although we caught up with a large group ahead of us and that slowed things down.

Appropriate Ages: I would say 12 and above.

Props / Special FX: Some of the props were really good, but in some of the rooms the props were not at all scary and there were some rooms with no actors at all.

Costumes / Make-up: The clowns had decent costumes and one of the actors that was outside had an awesome mask but as far as the young girls inside with makeup...nothing really special.

Summary: This was such a let down after last years event. Some of the rooms had no actors at all and at one point as we were going through some of the security guys came walking in a side door and ruined the room we were in! I am not sure if they were just short handed or what but the scare factor just was not there this year! Oh, and if you are a larger patron or have bad knees or a bad back then be prepared for a couple of places that you have to crawl through! We will go back next year because this is usually a very good attraction...maybe just a bad year this time.
