Visibility/Location: It was fairly easy to find since I'm a local to this area and have been here before. As soon as you pull up you know you're in the right place. The lighting and front yard are easy to spot.
Wait Entertainment: During the wait they have several characters walking around, a devil and clown. They had free popcorn which was a nice touch. There is a small but detailed front yard display you can look at while you wait. They also have a small bonfire lit to keep warm.
Length of Event: The wait wasn't too long, 20 minutes to a half an hour at the most to get to the front and go through.
Actor Performance: The actors were great, stayed in character and were effective.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: It was two or three people to a group and the flow seemed to be working well.
Appropriate Ages: The front yard display would be appropriate for any age. The haunted house however, I believe would be better for teenagers and adults.
Props / Special FX: There is a picture hanging in the wait line that is a computer screen that moves and you can watch it. The front yard has a bunch of moving zombies and graves. In the back of the haunted house there are pumpkins that light up in sync to music.
Summary: This is a haunted house in someones yard, so I wasn't expecting too much. I was surprised. After going through it you can see how much time and effort was put into it. The atmosphere was fun, you could tell people were enjoying themselves. Overall it was a great haunted house. Its free which is always a plus. Its better then some of the haunted houses i've had to pay for. They do accept donations, which a portion of goes to an autism organization in Illinois. A great cause. I would definitely go again.
