Visibility/Location: This House is located at a church and School. Mapquest took me to the wrong side of Quentin Road. House is located between Quentin and Midlothian on Old McHenry road, next to CN RR tracks. Sign and lights outside; two church steeples; large parking lot.

Wait Entertainment: DJ abd videos (from inside House. Food = pizza and soft drinks.

Length of Event: 35 minutes.

Actor Performance: Okay. Lots of younger (High School?) age. SOme very good.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Hard to get out of most rooms, so as soon as next group is approaching actor usually gives hint on exit; however, once took our group back into part of house we had already been through .. we thought we were exiting.

Appropriate Ages: 12 and older. They have a kiddie house too for those under 12 ... same House ut with flashlights and no actors popping out.

Props / Special FX: Blacklights, Fog, Strobes, Lazers, Vortex, Moving Floor, Bottomless pit illusion, Dog, Pig, sparks, cattle prods.

Costumes / Make-up: Good Make up and costumes.

Summary: Hard to get out of rooms. Not as intense as last year. Lots of Clowns with power Tools. Our Group got stuck in dead end hallway for what seemed to be eternity. Lots of stairs, ramps, and stooping. If you're on crutches you will not make it through. Hated the tunnel where someone was above me. Liked the moving floor. Did not like the black hallway deadend with surprise on walls. Suggest you NOT be the lead person for your group, unless you like that type of stuff. Got to write name on wall at end. Reasonable food prices. Doors opened at 7 pm and apparently there was a group of about 200 waiting. We came at 7:30 and had all these ahead of us, but it wasn't too bad. Not as many came after us ... so maybe the best time is not right when they open, but half way through the night. Who knows. We did not, but some peple apparently had paid for their tickets via PayPal, and had ticket numbers ahead of us. I recommend this House. It's not a take your money and quick through like some.

Visibility/Location: Big yellow sign out in front, I've driven past in the last few years but decided to give this one a shot. Easy to find.

Wait Entertainment: The DJ was really good, played some good music, a few miscellaneous actors maintaning the hallway. I met Creep the clown.

Length of Event: about 40 minutes

Actor Performance: There were quie a few mini actors, kids or teens maybe. A couple asked me to be their friend. The clowns were pretty scary, and one of them laughed at me while he stood on a wall in the corner, really creepy.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: I didnt run into any people in front of me which is common in other houses I've attended so that was nice.

Appropriate Ages: 12 and above I would recomend.

Props / Special FX: The props were really neat, the bathroom stunk and was very unpleasent to be in. Lots of black lights which made things glow, very cool. The bridge illisuon was pretty cool, looked like there was no floor.

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes the characters wore seemed to fit the part of the room they were in. The clown in the corner kind of blended into the wall for a neat effect.

Summary: Overall a pretty well done house. I could tell a lot of detail went into putting it together. They seem like a much smaller facility then most other houses but do a great job. They aren't as gory as other haunts but they manage to get good scares in other ways. A few young actors seemed intimidated by me since I was taller then them, they didnt look comfortable looking me in the eye. The clowns were creepy, due in part to the face-paint they wore. The guy dressed in the checkerboard outfit was my favorite, Im kind of jealous of his laugh, very intense. He seemed experienced, knew when to stay still and time it right for the perfect scare. The others in my group were definitely scared by him, and he startled me a bit too. I may grab some friends and go thru again this year to see how they like the attraction. Nice job guys!

Visibility/Location: Easy to see off of Old McHenry Road.

Wait Entertainment: Music, food, you get a number so you don't have to wait in line, you can leave & come back if you want

Length of Event: 40 minutes to get thru the house

Actor Performance: Actors are somewhat younger but very good at scares. Rooms are very small so you get very close to actors!

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Good - crowd is controlled by actors so you don't bunch up in rooms or hallways

Appropriate Ages: I would say age 10 to adult

Props / Special FX: Great props - scary pneumatic dog, realistic chainsaws, bloody axes, etc. Scary clowns - lots of great glow in the dark areas, crazy whirling vortex thing you have to walk thru.

Costumes / Make-up: Fun makeup - glow-in-the-dark effects, some gore/bloody scars, ripped throats, actors with specialty contacts, crazy hairsprayed effects.

Summary: This is the 3rd year we have been to this haunted house & it is great fun! We love that the rooms are small and confusing (got stuck in multiple rooms - we had a hard time finding the exits!). Dark mazes always freak me out and there are many. Nice use of special effects like makeup & lighting (clown makeup seems to change color under the blacklights). Every year they change the house & we have loved it each year! This year they had these LOUD gunshots which are frightening. Also, scary clowns in some unexpected areas. Great scares for pre-teens, teens, & adults - definitely worth the money (& it goes to a great cause which is a nice change for the season!)
