Visibility/Location: Gates of Delerium is located right on the Main Street in town (central street) with a sign with strobes on the corner that visually lets you know where to go

Wait Entertainment: The outside entertainment was very good. They had several actors outside doing scares and had creepy Halloween music playing. It made waiting worth the while and it was fun and exciting.

Length of Event: From entrance to exit was about 15-20 minutes but honestly felt longer because of the scare factor

Actor Performance: The actors were phenomenal! They really made the correct fits between actor/actors and room. The roles they played were scary! I think I screamed in every room actually. From the actors outside to inside it was scary they all stayed in character and were very creepy. Their costumes were very detailed as well!

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: They separated the groups very well. I didn't see or hear another party over my own. We were able to move at our own pace being terrified in each room.

Appropriate Ages: I don't think it would be a good idea to bring a child under the age of 10-12 to this. It is scary and definitely geared more to teenagers and adults.

Props / Special FX: Their use of props was well done. They looked very real and you almost didn't want to go near it. Sometimes you couldn't tell if it was real or not. I don't want to give anything away but there was this one room converted into a junkyard with automated stuff. Made me jump. Like I said I don't want to give anything away..it's a definite must see!

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes and make up had a lot of detail to make these characters pop! They must have spent a lot of time on this because it was like you were in a movie! Very creepy stuff!

Summary: This place was definitely fun and scary! It wasn't expensive at all. Where else can you go for 10$ and get that type of experience? Money well spent. I jumped/screamed in every room! In my opinion the scariest was the nuns! Sorry nuns freak me out but the way they made use of them was fantastic! Sometimes less is more and that was a great use for that! My favorite room was actually 2. The junkyard and the boiler room. The junkyard had a lot of detail and made you feel as though you were walking through a junkyard. And the boiler room was like walking into a nightmare on elm street set. The actor in there was ginormous and quite scary! I went with my wife 3 times last year and I think we will be going every weekend this year and have invited friends as well! A little teaser... Watch out at the end you think it's over but it's not!! :)

Visibility/Location: Located in Gilman, IL right off of route 24 on Central st. There are signs visible to make finding the attraction easy.

Wait Entertainment: From the moment you get in line you will be entertained, with realistic characters that definitely make you think twice, look over your shoulder, and make you wonder should you run....

Length of Event: From the moment of buying tickets until the end of the haunt I would say it took about 20 minutes. This was of course the first weekend the haunt was opened as the month moves closer to Halloween the lines seem to get longer and longer but they definitely make it worth the wait.

Actor Performance: The actors do a wonderful job at making the experience a believable one. They truly work hard and give it their all to making sure your experience is a great one.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: This is not a guided event so you are able to move freely and at your own pace. There was plenty of time to move from room to room at the rate that our party wanted. The employees did a great job of making sure they knew where your party was so they didn't over crowd the rooms. You didn't feel rushed and the screams you heard where your own.

Appropriate Ages: I do not think this would be appropriate for a child under the age of 12 as this adventure is geared towards teenagers and older.

Props / Special FX: The props and fx where used wonderfully. Each room themed and believable. That's the best part of a haunt is making it feel likes it's real. Horror film as tend to be my favorite movies to watch and going through this haunted house made me feel at times like I was in the movies. Kudos to a job well done.

Costumes / Make-up: The actors' costumes and make up where great. You can see that they take pride in making sure the scare is real. I don't want to give too much details because I don't want to give away the surprise.

Summary: This is the second year I have attended this haunted house and I will be going again. They seem to be able to change things up well to make sure you're not bored and keep you coming back for more. Some times less is more and they work that all very well. The boiler room was probably one of my favorites as it made me feel as I said before like I was in the movies, the actor was a big guy who truly set that room off right.

While it may be simple and creative it definitely makes you wonder do I continue looking ahead as I feel my way through the body bags or look behind me to see what's following????

All in all it was worth the 10 bucks and I would definitely go through it again.
