|Scare Factor: High | Atmosphere: Very Good|
Visibility/Location: Its a little off the path, but with gps you should have no problems.
Wait Entertainment: Great. My friends were chased with a rat, and the guy doing it was a phenomenal actor. Very funny. The guy leading the line with the girls school was very funny as well, as he gave out old books to read and memorize.
Length of Event: 15 minutes main house 10 for the second.
Actor Performance: This is where Fear City outshines everyone in my opinion. While they may not be the scariest of haunts, they are one of the best acted. There actors are witty, and interact with the customers so well. Multiple times we had goofy conversations with anyone we chose to conversate with. We talked about problems with hoarding with the nasty woman in her home, as well as home shopping with the other lady watching it on tv. We had and actor who looked a bit like Michael Jackson respond to our Michael joke by saying "I'm bad!" We even got acused of touching grannies underwear when walking though the clothes lines. For some who are looking for the major scare this isn't always the place, not to say it is not scary. It is! Its strongest points are really just how immersive and great the actors and environments are!
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Never an issue.
Appropriate Ages: 15+
Props / Special FX: Great props, great environments. I love that these guys are taking risks and doing some things I have not seen in houses before, like the giant white room.
Costumes / Make-up: This was great as well.
Summary: I usually don't give the whole rundown of each haunt I visit since I visit 10+ every season. I usually do like to share just a few of the improvements I saw over last year, if I visited it before, as well as mention anything that I think might be helpful for the future of the haunt.
I have been to Fear City for the last two years at leas twice a year. These guys have become my favorite haunt of the year, because of how immersive and different they are. If you get a chance go and visit them! I can't think of anything to improve upon other than continuing to change things up year to year.
