Visibility/Location: Located down the street from the Bartonville State Hospital .. Sign marking the roadway and flashing bright lamps down the road..

Wait Entertainment: Excellent wait entertainers walking the crowd, maybe best I have seen all year.

Length of Event: The actual event took 39 minutes and was very enjoyable ..

Actor Performance: All actors were perfect and on the mark..

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow was very good on our end, however a group did come up from behind us somehow... However they were on the ball enough to stall back and let our group continue by ourselves.

Appropriate Ages: They are marked for 14 years or older unless with an adult, I would agree with this..

Props / Special FX: No high powerful props here and no automation.. These are standard and created props by themselves and everything seemed to work out ok.

Costumes / Make-up: Costumes and make up was spot on, no problems here.

Summary: This was our first experience here and I beleive this is the first year of this attraction, so we never knew what to expect. After getting here we were impressed with the build up and actors working the event interacting with the crowd.. Everything was even better after we entered the attraction, everyone was on the mark and nobody (nobody) broke character once. The event moved seamlessly along and things continue coming after you throughout ... Lot of people working this event and they have put some quality time into building various attractions throughout the woods, this is a very dark event with lots of walking - wear good shoes and dress for the weather.. There are no fire pits here, so warm clothing is required on cold nights.. We very much enjoyed this event and will find ourselves back here again next year.

Visibility/Location: Having someone direct us to parking made things a lot easier. The ticket booth was light up by flashing lights so everything was easy to find.

Wait Entertainment: Waiting in line was a lot of fun with having some actors walking around and entertaining the line.

Length of Event: That depends on how fast you walk or run screaming through the woods. About 25-40 minutes.

Actor Performance: Every actor seemed to be on target and all gave great performances.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: If you go to fast you might run into another group like we did but it seemed that the actors are aware of this problem and try to keep you back without actually holding you hostage, lol.

Appropriate Ages: 13 and up

Props / Special FX: There are a lot of great props to be seen in the woods. Little structures and bridges to cross. The special effects are great but in a couple areas there could be a little more light on the ground to lead the way.

Costumes / Make-up: There are some freaky, crazy costumes to be seen as you trek through the haunted woods.

Summary: The trek through the woods is well worth the walk and money. The best part of the trail was walking into a circus and getting attacked by scary clowns. I was disappointed to not get a balloon animal but than I went screaming through it too.
Besides some lighting issues in a couple spots that could easily be fixed with ground lighting to lead you to the next scene, we were a little disappointed with the last part of the trail because it didn't have as much as the rest of the trail did.
But over all it was a scream! I can not wait to see what they come up with next year.
