Visibility/Location: Signs mark this event throughout the city and the location has visual markings indicating your in the correct location ..
Wait Entertainment: Various wait entertaining which includes projection screens of various horror films, nobody walking the line tonight in costume but this was Thursday evening and little to no crowd.
Length of Event: Maybe 10 minutes overall but I wasn't timing the event.
Actor Performance: Everyone done a very good job tonight and no actor broke character ..
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow was seamless and we encountered no other group, but this wasn't a strong turnout night . I don't see any type of issues developing with crowd flow though this attraction.
Appropriate Ages: I would say most 10 year olds could handle this event ..
Props / Special FX: The props and special effects are standard but they do an effective job, the automation figures are basically Spirit Halloween props with a little twist to them.. The overall structure of the event is fairly well done and they do a good job with what they have built ..
Costumes / Make-up: The costumes and makeup seemed very well done, we noticed no cheap masks and the wardrobe worked with the event theme well.
Summary: This is their first year presenting this attraction and it showed, however this group is off to the right start here. The attraction was very well constructed and the events triggered right on the mark. The cast done their jobs bring a scare factor to their surroundings and nobody slacked in giving 100% to the performance, very nice work. I am not a large fan of strip plaza haunted attractions but overall they done a good job with this building. The only issues I noticed here is
that this is an extremely large area and I would recommend that the waiting area (which is way to large for a small town) be converted more efficiently for a much longer event.. Properly assemblied this event could equal the old days of Canton haunted houses in size and effectiveness. I thought selling pictures through the waiting area seems somewhat strange, it gives the impression of more of a store than a haunted event.
Overall being their first year we were happy with the goal that this group set and they are definitely a talented bunch, very strong events with the electrical room and the graveyard. I think the $12.00 entry fee is a little to much for a first year event and a smaller draw town attraction. However, hope to see them continue their efforts to achieve a premium haunted house event..
