Visibility/Location: Easy to find if you know the area.

Wait Entertainment: A couple actors that didn't do much interaction. But both had very good costumes.

Length of Event: 15 to 20 minutes.

Actor Performance: Overall, fair to good. One actor was excellent, (the evil bunny rabbit) bringing the rest up a notch. No actors broke character, which is a plus.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Very good. Slow night so not pushing. Did not run across other customers while in haunt.

Appropriate Ages: 12+

Props / Special FX: Limited here, kind of a small haunt, so that's okay. Very good use of lighting, and lack thereof where needed.

Costumes / Make-up: Also, limited. The two actors working the waiting line had good costumes, along with one inside. Too many "WalMart Masks".

Summary: This is my first time here. As mentioned above, it's a small haunt as compared to most I have been through over the past few years. But, just the right amount of actors for it's size. Nice that everything is indoors and heated, which will help later on towards the end of the month. Price was a bit high for it's size, but I'm used to living in small towns and villages in north central Illinois where you can't seem to be able to charge much, maybe fine for the Quad Cities area. Would I go again? Not again this year, but maybe again a few years down the road, but did enjoy myself this first time. Would I suggest this place to friends? Yea, why not.

Visibility/Location: This is located in the QCCA Expo Center so this building isn't hard to find in Rock Island - this building is huge .. Any issues just GPS your way here.. They could use much better markings to let people know, very poorly advertised by the roadway .

Wait Entertainment: There were people working the lines of the crowd but we bypassed them using VIP ticket ..
Not really much dacor to see from the waiting line though, it's inside a huge Expo building ..

Length of Event: The event rounded out at 15 minutes .

Actor Performance: Everyone done a good job scaring, we noticed no slacking throughout the attention ..

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow was great and we encountered no other group in the attraction and this was a large draw night - very good ..
We did get off course in the event and had to be redirected by one of the characters, this shouldn't have happened but the actor still never broke character to redirect us --

Appropriate Ages: I would say around 10 years old would be alright attending this, but there was actually a couple of teens who appeared to be nurvious about entering ..

Props / Special FX: Overall the props and special effects were very good and we enjoyed the detail which was put into this attraction. They have some great automation effects and lots of detail ..

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes and makeup appeared well done and we everything we observed worked great ..

Summary: This being our first year here we never knew what to expect, we weren't disappointed. I personally find nothing scary about a huge Expo Center building but they have built a nice haunted house inside. There was a considerable crowd so we used the Speed Pass option (which was only $20.00) to get through quicker, everything moved along great and the workers done a great job.. As stated before the entire event was enjoyable and we noticed a few new ideas which we haven't seen before - nice ..
Also for a couple extra dollars they have assemblied a type of dare devil stage show with various haunted effects, mystic magic effects and other stuff - we passed on this though because of time restrictions ..
This event has the capability of expansion and therefore this attraction could increase in size considerably - this is a huge building with possibles ...

Visibility/Location: They really would benifit with a better, well lit sign outside to drawn attention. It'd be easy to find tho I guess, if you're familiar with the area, which I am not.

Wait Entertainment: The waiting line during the time we were there was short. There were a few characters coming and going. Only one of the 3 we saw, spoke. The doll charater was bubbly and enetertaining and the other two were silent characters that lurked near you.

Length of Event: About 15 minutes.

Actor Performance: The charaters that stood out to me and did a good job of acting were the Doll, The Rabbit guy, the Victim tied to the board in the torture room. The Voodoo Lady and her Goat Boy. (I wish the voodoo lady was better lit tho so I could see her costume. All I could see was her face.)

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Flow went well. We never caught up to the group ahead of us. And no one behind us.

Appropriate Ages: I'd say it'd be fine for ages 12+

Props / Special FX: The decor was okay. The thing that really stood out to me the most was the 3D room. I wish there had been more of it.

Costumes / Make-up: There were a few characters that had great costumes. The red haired clown named "Smiley" had a great look. The Doll, and the Two lurkers our front all looked great. (They need to highlite thier best costumed charaters tho. The only thing I could see of the voodoo lady was her face and the best dressed clown they had that we had previoulsy seen in line was hidden behind a drop window.)

Summary: It was my first time going to Shock House. I had fun but I really wish the actors would raise the intencity levels more. The only scare I got was when the rabbit guy came scooting down the crawl space toward me when I was crawling on my hands and knees. I see alot of potential tho. I wish them luck for the furture.
