Visibility/Location: Not a fan of mall or plaza haunted attractions but this located in a old movie theatre tweeted my interest ..
The event could be better advertised, we actual missed this event the first Galesburg visit ...

Wait Entertainment: There was no waiting here so nobody was working the line ...

Length of Event: Maybe 10 minutes ....

Actor Performance: For the most part everyone done a fair job here, however there isn't anything too scary here - it's better listed as a family enjoyable attraction ..
I have to admit that the entrance girl dressed in the bridal white done a fantastic job..

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Everything moved along ok however since we picked a lacking Sunday evening its impossible to actually know ..

Appropriate Ages: I would say that 8 year olds and above should be ok..

Props / Special FX: Nothing that I call really stood out above the rest, basic haunted props here ...
I don't recall the use of smoke machines or strobe lights either ..

Costumes / Make-up: Make up was fair to mid grade throughout, everything seemed to work ok though ..

Summary: This was the first year that this event took place in the old mall theatre, they were required to move after the Fire Marshall Codes were established .. These people have apparently done this event before and some parts were more professionally presented while others lacked the fright punch .. As you enter the event the sandbox was interesting but really didn't pack much scare factor and as you continue throughout you notice that this is an extremely over lighted haunted house, it seems that far to much light is present .. The best event is by far the multi-room shifting event where your trapped between multi-rooms while the actors shift your group through a series of doors from one exit to another - very interesting and well done ..
A good family haunted attraction and reasonable but in need of some tweaking ..

Visibility/Location: It was easy to find and there was a lot of parking.

Wait Entertainment: We didn't have to wait long. The creepy grudge like grandma really freaked us out.

Length of Event: The theatre took about 15 minutes to get through

Actor Performance: There were multiple actors who portrayed their part perfectly. Freddy and Jason really kept us on our toes.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: We were able to move easily through the entire attraction. We never had to wait and when we went the wrong way, we were turned back around easily by the workers

Appropriate Ages: I would say anyone that truly enjoys a scare and is 12 or older, would be able to make it through. If parents are with a younger child,10 or older, they would be ok. But, only if they are true horror fans.

Props / Special FX: The music and lights were great. The girl being cut in half really freaked us. The clowns were creepy.

Costumes / Make-up: I felt like the make-up was done perfectly to give us a scare. My daughter was totally freaked by the grandma because her costume and make-up were so realistic.

Summary: This was a wonderfully creepy haunted theatre. Both of us enjoyed it immensely and were still creeper out after we left because of some of the characters. Great job. My favorite creeper was the clown, I'm not sure how clowns became so creepy, but they have a great one. I also want to shout out to creepy grandma who gave my daughter nightmares. All the monsters and victims were great.

Visibility/Location: It was easy to find.

Wait Entertainment: Between the zombie boy, Samura like character and the ghost girl you won't be bored.

Length of Event: about 15 minutes

Actor Performance: The characters did a wonderful job!

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: If you go early in the night there won't be much of a wait!

Appropriate Ages: I would say 12+ without an adult. If they are younger than that an adult would probably need to be present.

Summary: If you are a fan of horror movies this is a great visit! It has segments for classics like the wolfman clear through Friday the 13 and Nightmare on Elm Street. It is a good time for a group of friends or family or a great date night. The theme is great for movie lovers and it is scary with out being overly so. It is one of the better houses I have been to.
