Visibility/Location: Super easy to find this place, as long as you've got a good GPS system. The lighting was good, the signage was easy to see of the road, & it wasn't buried deep into town, hidden away, like some of these other haunts in this area..

Wait Entertainment: None, but the guy who was letting us into the door, was super cool & dressed as a Reaper, which is always fun.

Length of Event: It seemed never-ending! Literally took us about a half hour to walk thru this entire haunt, from beginning to end. Very impressive time length, for the cheap $10 dollar door admission price! You get a TON of bang for your buck here.

Actor Performance: Excellent. Top notch. Some of these actors in this house go Above & Beyond...in their roles. I personally LOVED these actors & actresses in this haunt! Every minute of it.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Perfecto. Bravo! Didnt run into 1 other customer inside this haunt. AND they let us go thru, just my hubby & I alone!! Didnt force us to go thru with any other groups of people, which we totally prefer. Awesome job here guys.

Appropriate Ages: 11+ up.

Props / Special FX: Super cool decor inside, loved all the props, some of the rooms were cooler than others, the butcher room we loved, the red lit up dude in the electric chair was amazing visuals, the ballerina room, the cubicles in the walls with really cool stuff inside...I even loved the outdoor scenes, very eery & cool stuff here.

Costumes / Make-up: Awesome costumes, didn't really see anything too stand outish on the makeup stuff, but overall the costuming was super cool & all scary looking stuff.

Summary: The only complaint I could honestly have about this Entire haunt, is to heat up the place!! Other than that, this haunted house was 1 pleasant surprise for both my husband & I. We literally loved every minute of it. All the way til the very end, when the group behind us got chased out by the dude with a chainsaw, & 1 of the people from that group was literally SPRINTING, lol it was 1 of those amazing moments! He sprinted all the way to the STREET!! Haha what a great way to end a haunt. We loved the whole entire experience, from the way the owners treated us like family, right from the first word spoken, to the acting in this haunt, to the scenes, the length it took to walk thru. You name it. They were NOT lacking in ANY area!!! & I'm a pretty hard critic. So it takes a lot to impress me. But this place was 1 of those best kept secrets, hidden in the town of Rockford! Boy are we glad we took the drive to this place. Excellent experience. From the demented ballerina, twirling around in her room, (totally reminded me of that scene from the movie "The Cell"), to the things the actresses were shouting in the halls as we walked thru, to the Jason character outside scene, he was laying DOWN on the ground. & the way he sat up, & then grabbed his knife, to chase us out of his yard, was AMAZING! Props to that actor, for really being immersed in his role....We loved all the clowns, they were super scary, just their presence alone, & the displays in the walls were all cool as h--e--double-hockey-sticks (censored) & some creepy scary scenes thru out....Just when we thought it was ending, it kept going, & going, & going!!! I love a haunted house that lasts long, I honestly feel these guys could easily charge more & it would STILL be well worth the door price. That's how impressed I was with Hoppers!!! For anyone hesitating on taking the drive out to Rockford, for a d**n (censored) GOOD haunted house experience, do not hesitate! Take the drive out to Hoppers. You'll be SO glad you did. Love this place, & we plan on visiting this haunt every year they continue to remain up & running! It was my first time at Hoppers, but most def Not my last. Great job guys!!!

Visibility/Location: The location was easy to find. There was lights, and a sign, it was right off route 2.

Wait Entertainment: We had pretty much no wait time, but there was only one small group ahead of us.

Length of Event: It took about 30 minutes from start to finish to complete the haunt.

Actor Performance: Mostly the scare actors stayed in character. When we hit the very first scare actor someone decided to do rounds and tell them to go to break when we were finished right in front of us, before any interaction even happened, and the person did the same for the next two interactions.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: There weren't many patrons at the attraction when we were there as we went at the end of the night, but there was a group directly before us, and we did not run into them at all.

Appropriate Ages: This event is too intense for small children.

Props / Special FX: They had a pitch black maze, it was really awesome, never knew where the next doorway was, or when or if you were going to run into the next scare actor.

Costumes / Make-up: For the most part the makeup was the basic white base with shadowed eyes and fake blood, perhaps a bit of latex, but two of the scare actors who carried chainsaws looked absolutely awesome.

Summary: I had a great time at this haunt, it was one of my favorites in the area, and I am extremely difficult to scare, as was pointed out by one of the scare actors, but I would by far recommend this haunt to my friends, and other people who ask me about haunts in the area, I, however, as a business manager myself do suggest that the owner has a talk with his scare actors about staying in character, and not seriously calling his patrons names in aggression when they receive banter for messing up a paying customers experience. <3 the Queen of Halloween
