The Midwest Haunters Convention (MHC) and Fantasy Show (MFS) June 12-15, 2008 in Columbus, Ohio will feature numerous entertainment events for haunters and Halloween enthusiasts. From frightening bus tours to outrageous parties, guests will have lots of time to rock with fellow haunters while showcasing their characters. Our social events include the following:

• Thursday June 12th bus tour to Southwest Ohio includes; coach transportation, 4 frightening Haunted Attractions, Snacks, Beverages, Dinner & Souvenir T-shirt. Haunts include Ripper’s Revenge, St. Rita Haunted House, Dent Schoolhouse and the Haunted Castle of Carnage & Trail. You’ll explore the newest haunted attraction in Ohio built by Oak Island and one of the oldest haunts in the state.

• Friday June 13th Midsummer Night Scream bus tour includes;

o An open house tour of Scarefactory, with a reception at their new facility. Tour their showroom while enjoying food and beverages. First ever silent auction of props used by Scarefactory at the Playboy mansion.

Three floors of entertainment with five bands, DJ’s, haunt performers and artwork surrounded by a vampire themed Castle. Midnight Syndicate and Dental Distortions are sponsoring this awesome party!

Crazy Bob Turner will emcee the contest as our fellow haunters show us how to utilize Bloody Mary makeup supplies and household items with unbelievable results!

I wish MHC would be more up to date with their information- I'm finding it difficult to convince myself to buy access to things in advance when they'll hardly tell us what there is. They haven't even released a schedule yet.

Then again, I am known for being the negative one of the bunch.

It takes a lot of planning to be fashionably late, young man.
