Summary:
Terror
on Washington Street had changed a number of scenes this year. In
the
introduction, you were presented the rules of the house, while
standing in an old
cobblestone street. They had
a very nice "Blair Witch" scene with trees, a tent and
campfire. Other themes included a nicely contoured cave, a
detailed study, an open casket funeral, as well as many others.
Many of these scenes were nicely detailed.
There
were a couple of unexpected surprises along the way.
The car front end with the blaring horn and working headlights
really took me off guard in the dark maze. There was also
a section were you had to crawl through on your hands and knees. As you were
looking straight down through plexiglass into an illuminated
area (where you thought
the scare was coming from), they surprised you from the side.
Most of
the actors were enthusiastic. Everyone knew
their roles and followed through.
As usual, this was another great performance by the Terror on
Washington Street group. They always come up with some
really creative
scares. For the time spent inside, this attraction is well
worth the modest $6.00 admission price.
