Summary:
This
attraction is truly the best value of any event that I have ever
attended. Admission of
only $1.00
includes all of the
following:
- Village of Downs Haunted House
- Hayrack Ride through a haunted graveyard
- All the hot dogs you can eat! (No limit but you have to cook them yourself over an open fire!)

This
haunted house utilized some very dark hallways, along with some simple effective
scenes. I enjoyed some of the special effects
like the fire engine with working lights and siren, and the
spinning vortex.
Also in the jungle scene, there was a good sneak attack.
There were some nice surprises, but nothing overly intense, which
makes it a perfect event for the entire family.
I
have seen some comparable haunted houses that charge much more, so this is really a great deal. Where
else can you go to entertain your entire family for only $1 per
person? It is also nice to know that the
proceeds are donated to various community projects.
