Summary:
This event
is the best value around. For
only $1
you get the following:
The haunted house consists of a collection of scenes, which are separated by some very spooky, dark hallways. For a lower budget house, they really have a nice set-up. I even saw a few props that you usually see in commercial haunted attractions. A big hit inside the house was the spinning vortex tunnel. In one of their new scenes they lined everyone up in the middle of the room, warning them that the walls were going to move in, then something totally unexpected happened. I don’t want to give away the surprise, but it was great. The dungeon scene with its custom-built wooden coffin was nice and I also enjoyed the big surprise at the end of the fortune teller scene.
I don’t know of any other haunted attraction that offers such a value. This event has to be the most impressive collective community effort I have ever seen. The entire event is funded with donations from individuals within the community. I was told that the Mayor even volunteers to help run the haunted house. If you get a chance, be sure to check this one out!
