LPR: 4.307
LPR stands for Length/Price Ratio. It represents perceived value of an event, by comparing length vs price of admission. Higher numbers represent more value per dollar. Actual quality and/or entertainment value of an event are not factors in this calculation. Click Here to see how this event compares to others visited this year by the staff of HauntedIllinois.com.
Scare Factor: Very High
Crowd Control: Crowd control was handled well, with each tour beginning several minutes apart, moving forward at their own pace. Never ran into any other groups while moving thru event. Outdoor venue with uneven terrain, a few steps, and some small hills, may make navigation a bit tough for some patrons, however we made it thru quite easily.

Summary:

Standing next to the fire awaiting your fate, a bell tolls in the distance, as a shadowed figure moves slowly toward you. A Lantern Lady summons you forward, and your tour begins. Twisting and turning, a candle lit trail leads through several eerily creepy and realisticly interactive scenes of absolute terror. A blacksmith sharpens his tools as you pass his cabin, alone in the woods. The screams of victims fill the air, as you progress deeper and further into the darkness. Ripped in two, their cries beg for your assistance.

Props are amazing! Real buildings, cars, a bus?! Wooden fences made of twigs, and the Blair Witch stick figures.. Man, this venue was intense! The scenes were so well done, and the actors were definetly on point! Overhearing one of our names, "Jessica" was taunted the entire time we were out there. I remember walking thru the baby doll scene thinking, there is no way I'm going to be able to capture all of this detail into words. Disorienting lazers and fog take the maze to an entirely new level, and I cannot begin to express how good of a job the actors did at making you feed like you were smack dab in the middle of your favorite horror story. I cannot wait to return to this venue. A++, two thumbs up, job well done!
