Fright Kingdom Tour
12 Simon St.
Nashua, NH 03060

About mid-day, attendees went on a tour of the Fright Kingdom.  This tour was fully operational, complete with show lighting, effects and a full compliment of actors.  The attraction had a haunted manor-style theme, was highly detailed and had some great animatronic surprises and actor scares, as well.  Even the queue line area was themed with various building facades, a wooden picket fence and eerie colored lighting.  We also got to see a sneak peak of the front room of the "Psycho Circus", which was themed as a carnival midway.  I can only imagine how impressive this attraction is going to be during the regular season.

Blowing Up and Twisting Halloween
By Steve the Balloon Man or

In this seminar, Steve the Balloon Man showed everyone, step-by-step, how to twist balloons, to create various shapes including a ghost and a skull hat.  During this hands-on demonstration, several people from the audience had the opportunity to craft balloon shapes of their own.  This was one of the most entertaining seminars at the gathering.

Prop-building Seminar
By Steve O and Friends

This seminar showed the audience how to build three very useful projects: a laser vortex, a flicker circuit and a foam carving tool with a variable power supply.  To show how easy they were to put together, all three projects were built from the ground up, as the audience watched.  Not only are these projects relatively simple to build, they are also very affordable.

Dinner and Magic Show

After the seminars were over, everyone went back to the hotel for dinner and a magic show.  The buffet-style dinner was great.  It was good food and the dinner gave everyone the opportunity to relax and socialize.  After dinner, there was a magic show held in one of the conference rooms at the hotel.  The show included performances by Vlad, Shawn Phoenix, David Birtwell, Peter James and Steve Gibson.  It was very entertaining and well worth the price of admission.
