2013 Transworld Review: St. Louis City Museum
The St. Louis City Museum is somewhat of an oddity. Over the past few years, I had heard a lot about it, but never found the time to go… until this year.
Calling it a museum may be a bit deceiving, because it’s not really what many people would think of as a museum. Wikipedia describes this locale as an “eclectic mixture of children's playground, funhouse, surrealistic pavilion, and architectural marvel.”. I would definitely agree with that assessment. Throughout the museum, there were many odd works of art, caves, slides and winding tubular passages made of welded rebar. It was definitely interesting.
