Visibility/Location: This place was out in the country, quite aways from the city. There were some (very) small signs on the way there. The event itself was not well-lit, but it was easy enough to figure out that it was the Haunted Barn, once you found the right road. The directions on their website (and map provided) were the most helpful.

Wait Entertainment: There was a TV set up that was not playing anything. There were not that many people there, but the wait was about 30 minutes. It was a pretty boring wait time.

Length of Event: 15 minutes.

Actor Performance: They were very good in this department. Some of the actors were REALLY into their roles. From an insane inmate climbing the walls of his cell, to all the crazy clowns, most of the actors really excelled their parts. One little guy/monster even started crawling on the ground towards me, which was unusual and scary.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: This was pretty poorly done. The patron flow was supposed to be carefully controlled by having a tour guide lead each small group through the haunted house. Unfortunately, the group ahead of us was very slow (or our guide was leading us through very fast) and we kept bumping into them. One good thing was that only small groups were allowed in at a time. There were only four people allowed in for our group. This helped make the "barn" seem scarier.

Appropriate Ages: I would say this is appropriate for people ages 12 and up. Smaller children probably would get too scared by some of the dressed-up actors and some of the violent scenes of the barn.

Props / Special FX: Decent, considering this is a low-budget haunted house. There were blacklights, strobes, scary soundtrack, and et cetera. The coolest part were some of the decorations/props. Very unique set up.

Costumes / Make-up: Very good. Most of the actors had decent costume/make-up design. Some were really meanacing (crazy clowns).

Summary: This was a decent event for eight dollars. The worst part was finding the barn and the boring wait to get in. Inside, I was really blown away by the detail and actor's performances. From the outside, this doesn't look too promising, but there is much more inside. There was even an offer the night I went that you could go back in for only $2.00. Many of the huanted houses I have gone to never offer a deal like that. So, for patrons who really liked this event, they had a good deal to go through again. If the wait wasn't so terrible, I probably would have went through again.

Visibility/Location: Location was easy for us because we just live down the street. But the signs could be a lot better. We couldn't find it the year before (we had just moved here) so we didn't get to go. (bummer)

Wait Entertainment: There was NO wait. We went right in. I think the earlier you go, the less you wait.

Length of Event: About 20 minutes is right. Seemed longer. I couldn't get out of there fast

Actor Performance: The actors were great. They even had little people in there that scared the heck out of my 11 yrs old. One of them were standing in one of the halls , we thought it was a statue. But when he started jerking against the wall, my son came un-glued.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow was fast. It might have been to fast for some poeple but was just right for us. At the end the hostess leaves you and you have to find your way out on your own.

Appropriate Ages: 10 and up is my best guess. I am 30 and couldn't handle it..just

Props / Special FX: The special effects were great. They have an announcer over the intercom describing you to a T. I would have been OK if it was not for seeing him when I first came in. I was trying to figure out if he was real or not. He has his mouth covered, so you couldn't see him talking. But he was freaking looking. Just don't make eye

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes were great from what I saw. I think I had my eyes closed most of the time. They were dressed to scare...and that they did!

Summary: All in all, one of the most scary haunted houses I have ever been too. They could use a small one or something to entertain the small children outside. My husband and I had to go at seperate times so that we could stay with the little one. Also, if you want to go again. Keep the other half of your ticket and they will let you gl back in for 1/2 the cost. This one was scary, there is no doubt. If you are thinking about going....Good Luck...and don't forget to look behind you.....

Visibility/Location: This haunt is out in the country. So it did take some time to find. They could use some better signs. Good thing is they do have a phone number on their posters and they were very helpful.

Wait Entertainment: They had a great introduction tape or cd playing that sounds like something that a radio station would play. They could use some actors to keep people entertained. There was however not a long wait.

Length of Event: It took us about 18 mins to go through the group I was with had younger kids and were pushing the guide (lol) so I think the 20 mins. they have on the webside is about right.

Actor Performance: The actors were for the most part good at their jobs. However some actors could be a little more frightful. The grave keeper was very good and the guy in the psycho room were very intence. The best was the sound. They had someone live on a loud speaker system that talk and made comments to the people when they entered the haunt and picked on some of them. With such things as "I love blond hair when it is all covered with blood" He had a very scary voice that just boom out.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow was great we never saw another group while we were in the haunt. I did love the way you were inside then outside and then back inside.

Appropriate Ages: This haunt is too extream for kids under 10. There was one child crying in the group I was in, and they did offer to take him out and watch him while the we went through the rest of the haunt.

Props / Special FX: This is done in a old creepy barn that is out in the country. This makes a great setting. There was alot of detail in all the scenes but at times the guides went too fast to take in all the things in a scene. (I do plan to go back I know there are alot of things I missed seeing) The size of the scenes make for the best size group to be 5 to 6 other wise some of the group would be short changed on seeing them.

Costumes / Make-up: Everyone was in makeup or costume, and they had some good ones too. There is just something about a ghoul or evil clown coming out of the darkness that will always make you jump.

Summary: This haunt gets a big thumbs up from me. Some better signs would help alot on finding them. Over all I would have to give this one a 8 and worth the money to go see. I was talking to the lady taking the money and found out that this is a fund raiser for a local kids baseball team. For a event that is a fund raiser I am impressed. I could tell that alot of time and money was put in the building of this haunt. I would tell anyone to go check this one out.
