|Scare Factor: Medium | Atmosphere: Good|
Visibility/Location: Easy to find, signs point you in the right way. There are ghouls helping you to find parking. Clearly marked where the ticket sales are and we pretty much followed the crowd after that.
Wait Entertainment: Very nicely carved pumpkins to look at while you wait. Some scary dressed ghouls walk past and try to scare the little ones. That was fun to see.
Length of Event: I was hoping the train ride would have lasted longer, but the scary boxcar too longer to get through than I originally thought, so it made up for it.
Actor Performance: I think that the actors could have focused on scaring people in the whole car that they were assigned to. Our ghoul focused on only one group of girls and only scared them by screaming. I think it would be nice if they expanded their scare tactics to include moving throughout the car, sitting next to people, touching their shoulders, or whispering in people's ears when they don't expect it.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: We got there, got tickets, and pretty much got on the train. There was a minimal wait to walk through the haunted box car. I was pleasantly surprised.
Appropriate Ages: 8 and up
Props / Special FX: Very cool props. The dragon breathing fire coming at the window scared me the most.
Costumes / Make-up: Not too many actors, but for the ones that were there the costumes were pretty cool.
Summary: Definatly something to take the family too. Very good date idea. There are plenty of reasons to make her cling to your arm. Parking was ample and the scare was just enough to spark the beginning of a spooky night.
