Visibility/Location: I have been to this attraction 2 years prior to this one, so I had an idea of where to find it. They did have a sign posted, but my recommendation would be to have more, larger signs posted from the main road and/or a lighted sign so that it is easier to find this event.
Wait Entertainment: At the time that we vistited this house, I didn't see any wait entertainment--but we didn't need any! It took us less than 15 minutes to make it into the house, as it was such a short line. I think the location of this house has to be one of the biggest reasons why they don't get rated higher when ranking top haunted attractions, as most people won't make this drive or even know where Mazon is. Believe me, it's worth the drive!
Length of Event: Hard to say, but I'm guessing about 15 minutes.
Actor Performance: Overall good (with just a couple rare exceptions)--part of their great performance is simply due to the setup of the house. It is pitch black through most of the house, so you can't try to predict where the actors are going to jump out. I really appreciated this, as I am a veteran patron of many haunted houses and it's incredibly rare that I get startled. I think this is the first house to actually startle me several times. (Like many of you out there, I don't get "scared" by haunted houses as I know they are everyday people behind those costumes--the main reason why I go is to see the visual effects and hope that I can be startled at some point which doesn't typically happen. Great job!
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Good, although due to the patrons in front of us stopping and waiting halfway into the house, we got backed up in the maze. (very annoying--if you are attending a haunted house, please make sure that there aren't other patrons behind you if you decide to stop in the house completely)
Appropriate Ages: 13+ (steer clear if you are claustrophobic or afraid of the dark)
Props / Special FX: I think for what I'm assuming is a smaller budget than most houses (and being is such a small populated town/area), they did a great job with the special effects. Without relying on only animatronics or actors, they built this house to instill that uneasy feeling of tight spaces and darkness. This alone made it an excellent house. However, don't expect to be wowed by expensive special effects here. That's not their MO.
Costumes / Make-up: Good for again what appears to be a smaller budget. There were some well costumed actors and some others leaving much to the imagination.
Summary: Overall, a great attraction if you truly want to be surprised and typically aren't one to get "scared" by a haunted house. They use more of a simple approach to catching you off guard, which is what makes it more effective. One sidenote, however that this year and the last year's opening scene with the cage, were considerably less effective in setting the mood as compared to the opening scene that they used 2 years ago (with the dark open room and the actor/actors seated and walking in a type of balcony above). I think this is partly due to the brightness of the first room as compared to the lighting they used for that 2 years ago. But that's just my 2 cents :)

|Scare Factor: High | Atmosphere: Very Good|
Visibility/Location: House was not hard to find. Directions were good and signs in town very accurate.
Wait Entertainment: Chain saw man was really something. Didn't bother me , but really got to alot of the girls.
Length of Event: About 17 min.
Actor Performance: Very good. Alot of the actors really got into their particular areas characters. Voice in maze that was everywhere at first creeped me out. Then was worse when we found it.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Seemed to be fairly smooth. Even though there were alot of people in front and behind us---we didn't run into any jams.
Appropriate Ages: Mature 7 or 6 yr. olds.
Props / Special FX: Loved lab setting and brain floating--also room with mirror and strobes. Actor very good there. Clowns are awesome.
Costumes / Make-up: Really well done I thought. Better than most that I have visited.
Summary: I plan to go again this next weekend, as I talked to one of the security people and he said that the actors change often as it is all done by volunteers. Each night is a little different due to this. Also talked to a group in line that had been through 4 different nights and they said it got better each time. And the $6.00 price was nothing compared to some I've been too.

|Scare Factor: Medium | Atmosphere: Good|
Visibility/Location: Very easy to find.(For being in a town in the middle of nowhere.)But once you are there, easy to locate. An old storefron, decked out with cool creepyness.
Wait Entertainment: zero wait.
Length of Event: 15 minutes?
Actor Performance: One of the only weak points. The actors, for the most part, were not into it, or were, perhaps, shy. The chainsaw guy was good. The acrobat guy was....uh....nimble.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Not sure, since it must have been a slow night.
Appropriate Ages: 10+
Props / Special FX: Pretty good, some things, like the dolls hanging from the ceiling, was weak. Other things, like the devil, mummys tomb, were good. I LOVED the foyer. It reminded me of the waiting room at Disney for some reason. (My favorite part actually...even though there really wasn't any scares in there.)
Costumes / Make-up: Pretty good, from what I could see.
Summary: Although I didn't get scared, because I don't scare easily, if ever, this attraction has heart. Well worth the drive, and well worth the 6.oo admission. The head in the glass bubble inside the lab was cool. My only real complaint, besides the weak actors, is that there was WAY too much maze. Sometimes, more is too much, and thats definately the case here. Too much maze, not enough rooms with good scares in them, but cool things to look at, at times.
