| Overall Score:|
|Scare Factor: Very High | Atmosphere: Good|
Visibility/Location: Easy to find, it is located in the middle of the town but there were no signs for the event...maybe some signs on the edge of town would be helpful...the building is located about 2 blocks from Route 78
Wait Entertainment: Not much but there was concessions
Length of Event: 30 minutes plus!!!
Actor Performance: Pretty good...the actors in the asylum were CRAZY and dedicated as was the chainsaw guy...loved the Thriller people also
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Didn't run into any other groups...there were plenty of actors to make sure kids were not running back and keeping the patrons moving, very nice not run into another group
Appropriate Ages: I would say definitely above 10, younger children were very scared and screaming and crying
Props / Special FX: Almost too many to list, neverending hallway was cool, the hell's kitchen was awesome, I would have liked to have spent more time just looking at the scenes, the final maze was a phobic nightmare, I hope Christmas was not ruined for some of the younger kids with the demented Santa village
Costumes / Make-up: Great costumes, not much specialty makeup
Summary: Okay, for six dollars this attraction is way underpriced, volunteers go above and beyond setting up scenes....I was shocked to learn that the scenes were set up in a day and a half. This attraction is completely different each year. There was people in coffins, an entire room was converted into a crypt, a dentist office, the person on the tricycle was creepy and came from nowhere, the back stairwell was disorienting and I was glad to hold onto the railing, carnevil was creepy and the asylum kids were really crazy. The hell's kitchen had too many special effects and props to take in and crawling in the cold hallway with the vibrating floor, crazy Santa and then the claustrophobic maze...I know I'm forgetting alot. I jumped alot and enjoyed myself. Alot of the patrons in line had already been through the attraction the night before and had returned. I drove 45 minutes to see this and it was well worth it.
