Visibility/Location: Plenty of free parking. If you're not familiar with the area, may be a bit difficult to find (not a lot of signs off the main roads.)

Wait Entertainment: Given that I was with 6 screaming teenage girls, we pretty much provided our own entertainment. Not much going on in the lines, but the tractor ride from the ticket booth to the Spooky Trail was fun, and the driver/staff were very entertaining with funny comments.

Length of Event: The actual trail took probably 15-20 minutes, mainly because we stopped to look for a lost shoe.

Actor Performance: Excellent--good job sneaking up on us, lots of in-your-face time (but no touching!) Great screaming and menacing approaches.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Very good--good space between groups.

Appropriate Ages: Eight and above--although it depends on the eight year old. I'm 43 and I was scared!

Props / Special FX: Swinging man, mist, strobe, maze, loved the chainsaw man...

Costumes / Make-up: All terrific--creative and spooky without an overreliance on gore.

Summary: Another most excellent year for the Spooky Trail. It's a good length--you feel like you're getting your money's ($7.00) worth. The tractor ride to the trail makes you feel like you're in a remote setting. The outdoors (especially with the full moon) helps contribute to the chill of the trail. The actors all seem to enjoy screaming and chasing the kids, and the twists and turns to the trail provide lots of unexpected scares.
