Visibility/Location: It is out in the country and there are no signs, (at least on the route we took), to guide you to the location. However, once you get there, you know it. The parking lot is huge and there is a sign for the orchard at the entrance. Wait Entertainment: The only element of wait enetertainment was a person in a gorilla suit who wasn't overly enthusiatic. Length of Event: The length of this attraction can very greatly as it is a self-guided maze. It is possible for the whole maze, both the non-haunted and haunted portions, to take well over an hour. For our group, it took us right around an hour to get through the entire maze. Actor Performance: The vast majority of the actors were committed to their roles and did a good job. Some were less committed, but it may be that they were just tired as it seemed that some actors had to work two different areas that had some distance between them. Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow of people could have been better managed. The maze, both parts included, has the potential to be very psychologically scary. If we weren't constantly running into large amounts of other people, the fear of being lost would have been rather intense. If they could have put a gap between groups, it would have helped. Appropriate Ages: The first half of the maze is appropriate for just about any age. The second, "haunted," half would probably be better suited for those closer to 10 and older. Props / Special FX: The props were not bad, but were nothing special or overly detailed. Costumes / Make-up: The costumes were good and fitting of each character. The make-up wasn't bad, but nothing overly amazing. Summary: Overall, this wasn't a bad attraction. It is a good time if you are with fun people and there aren't too many rude people there. However, it is not a vey scary attraction, especially on a bright night. If you can go at a time that is not so busy, I think the psychological aspect will increase and give you a different type of scare. |
