Visibility/Location: You really can't miss it once you get close. The school is fairly large and the street in front has barricades for patrons of this event to enter and exit safely from the street. It's only about a mile south of the courthouse downtown.
Wait Entertainment: At the time we went on Oct. 17 there really wasn't any wait so there wasn't much in the way of wait entertainment. There was a guy walking around in front of the school with a chainsaw. There was a concession stand built into the wait line as well.
Length of Event: For the cost this event seemed fairly long. I would estimate it took about 20 minutes from start to finish. The outdoor portion was the least popular of the area's for our group and was more maze then scary.
Actor Performance: There were plenty of actors inside the school. Most actors played their parts well. The flow could have been managed better as we kept running into the group in front of us and caught actors resetting the scene's as we approached.
Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Patron flow is one of the area's this event could improve upon. They started out managing the flow nicely at the beginning but could have used some more help midway to the end as our group ran into actor's resetting several times.
Appropriate Ages: I would say eight and up but an eleven year old boy in our group did get really freaked out and exited midway through.
Props / Special FX: The props and special effects were pretty much standard fare here. Plenty of strobe lighting and dark mazes. They did have a spinning tunnel you walked through that had the effect of making you dizzy thinking the room was "rolling".
Costumes / Make-up: Plenty of Jason's and average looking costumes. I would say this events strength was the number of actors and not the quality of the costumes.
Summary: This event was a great value. With the coupon's our group of four were entertained nicely for $22. The strong points were the number of actors, scare factor, and the length of the event. With a little improvement in patron flow and the quality of the costumes this event would rank at the top of my list.
