Visibility/Location: Very hard to find and I had a GPS to help me. A light sign or at least a strobe light would have helped point out which destitue building contained the haunted house. Oh and have fun paying TEN BUCKS TO PARK.

Wait Entertainment: I saw a guy with a chainsaw standing around but he didnt use it or really interact with the crowd at all. It was a long boring 90 minute wait with nothing to do but think about the cold.

Length of Event: I timed it on my watch. 7 minutes, not including the 90 minute wait to get in.

Actor Performance: Teens and pre-teens with probably zero haunted house experience operated the haunt. Actors were few and far between. I got "booed" at by a kid. Boo is not scary to anyone over the age of 5.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: HORRIBLE. Immediately ran into the group ahead of me. The group behind me was a bunch of drunk soccer moms who pushed into me making me push into the group ahead. This was not fun. Since there were over a dozen customers making a conga line thru the house it wasn't scary one bit.

Appropriate Ages: Ages 2 and up.

Props / Special FX: Not impressed. I've been to local jaycees haunted houses and other non-profit houses with BETTER props and special effects. This entire house looked thrown together. It was way too light in some areas. I didn't see any animatronics (that worked anyway).

Costumes / Make-up: Mostly cheap Walmart masks. The one actor I did see wearing makeup just painted his face red. He was wearing jeans and a t shirt. It seemed that the house couldn't even invest in some inexpensive robes for actors to wear to cover their jeans and daily attire.

Summary: I will never waste the time driving here or my money parking here or paying to go through this house ever again. Everyone in my group was disappointed. I can't belive how short it was for how much I paid to get in. The bang for the buck was extremely low. With all of the hyped up advertisement I heard on the radio I figured this was going to be one heck of a haunted house. I guess I should have realized that it was just publicity b/c the house was sponsering the radio station. I learned my lesson not to believe everything you hear on the radio!

Visibility/Location: A little tricky to find if your not using a GPS possibly. I saw signs when I got close to the event directing which way to go. The location is very creepy in itself. The haunt is in an enormous warehouse in a quiet part of town.

Wait Entertainment: There were some very good actors patroling the grounds. I was very impressed with their costumes and makeup. I paid for VIP passes so I didn't have to spend any time in the line.

Length of Event: I did the WHOLE thing (both floors, secret passageways, and buried alive. It took about 45 minutes to get thru the entire house.

Actor Performance: Excellent. My favorite actor was the one who let you into the house and led you to the corridor you were supposed to go down. He spoke in a creepy high-pitched voice, but then screamed at you in a deep voice when you least expected it.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: VIP is the way to go! It was just me and my friend who got let in by ourselves. A group of 2! We had the entire house to ourselves for every part except buried alive. It was awesome not running into any groups or having anyone run into us. They really had their timing down pat.

Appropriate Ages: Not for the faint of heart! I wouldn't bring young children to this place unless you want to give them nightmares and scar them for life.

Props / Special FX: I was very impressed with the surprises that were in store for patrons. Actors can scare you from all angles... the floor, the walls, even from above your head! Props came within inches of hitting me when they'd pop out. It was very scary! Also, it was quite a surprise when the wall caved in. There are very expensive props and special effects at this place. PLUS I never seen another house where you get buried alive (not a lame coffin simulator, but literally you can't move b/c you are buried with something ;)

Costumes / Make-up: As good as it gets! They spend a lot of time on costumes and make up here. It must have taken some of these actors 2 hours to get dressed and made up for the house!

Summary: This is NOT an event to miss! Do the entire house and VIP is the way to go to avoid the long 3 hour+ line on busy nights. I had a true VIP experience and would do this again in a heart beat. I love their new location and it appears that they've really stepped up compared to last year regarding patron flow. If this place disappoints you I don't think you will find another house in Illinois that will please you.
