Visibility/Location: It is very easy to find(right on the main street) and there is plenty of parking.

Wait Entertainment: There was no wait time at all. We got in within 5 minutes of arriving and paying for our tickets. I don't believe people knew it was open yet.

Length of Event: 15 minutes.

Actor Performance: The actors were very convincing and stayed in character the whole time. They knew their"roles" well.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: We did not come into any other group inside the event. They do a very good job of spacing groups out.

Appropriate Ages: They do have "friendly haunt" hours younger children, but I don't think anyone under 12 or 13 should go through the regular hours.

Props / Special FX: I didn't really notice anything like holograms, etc.
Their decorations and props are very good though. They lean toward more old fashioned handpainted and handmade props instead of the electronic or computerized.

Costumes / Make-up: The actors wore appropriate costumes. The make up and costumes were very good and fit the theme.

Summary: I enjoyed this haunted house very much. The wait outside is never very long.I didn't really have a favorite scene, I rather enjoyed the whole thing(except the snake). They have alot of actors jumping out so you aren't sure where to expect it. This house has quickly become one of my favorites over the last 3 or 4 years.

Visibility/Location: Very easy to find , If coming from the North you will drive in on 67 and there it is soon after you drive into town. There is a T-Mart ( BP) station on the left and on the right across the tracks in the event.

Wait Entertainment: The wait in line was very short and they had music playing as well as a concession stand and a few actors walking the yard .

Length of Event: 15 minutes

Actor Performance: Very good, stayed in character the entire time . The only time someone jumped out of character was as I was leaving and already out the gate I was telling my wife and neice and nephew how impressed i was with the event . He spoke up and said if we liked it to visit to vote. Otherwise they stuck to the story line .

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: Never ran into anyone else in the house, and the actors did a great job of leading you through this old victorian style house.

Appropriate Ages: This is a tough say because it was a great scare , but diod have some gore but not to the point of sickness. So i'd say depends on the children. Perhaps 8 up.

Props / Special FX: These are some of the best I have seen since the St Louis Atrractions we visited. For a small town they had some of the most real looking corpses. I also read that they make their own and lemme tell you they look GREAT !

Costumes / Make-up: This was alos very detailed and put time into all they did .

Summary: This was so far the best attraction we have visited so far this year . This is #9 on our visits this year and is #1 as best haunted event. With the admission of $6 for adults and $4 for 12 and under you will not get in to a better event. This was so good we had to go through it again o we could see al the detail they had in each and every room .
Take the time and visit this event and you will also be readyt o write an awesome review. We were also told by one of the owners while in line that they change everything each year sticking to a storyline .
I plan on going back again one more time before Halloween and this is almost a 2 hour drive for us but well worth the trip.

Visibility/Location: Easy to find, slightly below Jacksonville Illinois...

Wait Entertainment: No wait in line entertainment, no waiting line at all.. We went straight into the house..

Length of Event: Maybe 15 minutes.

Actor Performance: The actors did a good job and all stayed in character.

Patron Flow Inside Attraction: The flow throughout the house was good except for the upper level, we had to wait until another group cleared the stairway before we could continue our exit, this bottleneck did take away from the scare factor.

Appropriate Ages: I would say anyone 10 could handle this haunted attraction.

Props / Special FX: The prop were good, but no high priced items here. Lots of basic store bought items with a little tweek here and there. Most of the house is stocked with the basic items, no high scare automation props here.

Costumes / Make-up: The costumes were all good, most standard wardrobe here. Would like to see more detail used here.

Summary: This was our first year of going to this haunted attraction and it wasn't too bad. I would like to see more detail put into this attraction, the house itself looks good and sets up the mood very well.. I think more soundtrack would make this much better, it lacks a lot here. The outside short walk isn't too much, it needed more real actors and a better more reliable chainsaw. For next year I would like to see a little more put into the scare factor here.
